Welcome to Darmida
DAR MIDA is a hidden treasure offering spectacular breath taking views
overlooking Mida Creek (Indian ocean) in Watamu, KENYA. Very private and
exclusive with its own charm and character.

Dar Mida is a 3 storey house (i.e.. ground floor, first floor and roof top
bar/dining area) with a mixture of Swahili - Morrocan style, tastefully designed
and decorated with unique pieces of furniture from around the African Continent.

Mida Creek is a Marine reserve with excellent snorkelling and water sports.

GROUND FLOOR DINING AND SITTING ROOM

DAR MIDA HIGHLIGHTS:

 * Large outdoor swimming pool size 16 X 8 mtrs surrounded by a wall on one side
   adding privacy.
 * Tropical Garden.
 * Dar Mida is looked after by wonderful friendly staff including an excellent
   cook.
 * A stylish Gazebo overlooking Mida Creek is a quiet place to chill out.
 * Magical sunsets & beautiful views directly in front of Dar Mida.
 * Night sounds: Bush baby and wonderful bird life.
 * Roof top candle lit dinners under the African stars & late night drinks
   around the bar with wonderful ambiance and no artificial lights to compete
   with the brightness of the stars.
 * Downstairs dining room with table that seats 6 and one additional round table
   that seats 4.
 * Upstairs roof top bar/dining area, with two round tables that each
   comfortably seat 4 Plus the Bar counter top that has 5 bar stools.

Dar Mida gives you the opportunity to enjoy the company of family and friends to
the fullest.

DAR MIDA POOL AREA WITH GAZEBO

MEALS: Self Catering

THEME: Ideal for families, small private groups, writers, Honeymooners, people
learning to scuba dive and anybody who needs to escape from the stress of city
life.

FANS: We have stand fans in all rooms & ceiling fans too. Also a ceiling fan
over downstairs dining table (the rectangular table that seats 6 comfortably)

ELECTRICITY: In the case of blackouts, we have a 6 kva generator and a mains
inverter.

BATHROOMS & AMENITIES: The two downstairs bedrooms are en suite with shower and
toilet. There are two bedrooms on first floor has a toilet and hand basin. The
other bedroom has an en suite bathroom. Upstairs roof top bar/dining there is a
toilet and basin.

There is one outdoor shower by the swimming pool.

If families bring small children, we provide mattresses for the floor and a
mosquito net can be hooked to the ceiling.

There is NO TV

There are 4 sun beds around pool area, a round table with umbrella and chairs
where meals can be enjoyed.
