Welcome to the House of Music

I talk about music stuff in organized mini-essays diving into musical elements
of songs I like, or I geek out about cool gear. So get ready to be exposed to my
wildly inconsistent music taste cuz y’all are about to learn things.

WHO AM I?

I am simply a music nerd who goes by MatPi. I’ve loved music as long as I can
remember and I can play drums, piano, and a little bit of bass and guitar. Music
theory is something I’ve always found super interesting so this blog is me
trying to apply that knowledge to my favorite songs. Oh, I’m also a giant weeb
and anime music takes up a lot of my music taste so get ready to hear a lot
about that.


WHY DO I DO THIS?

Just like I said before, I’m a nerd trying to apply my knowledge of music theory
to the songs I like. This blog is so I can share my ideas with the world in a
form that’s more coherent than just rambling to my friends about the latest
Roselia song.
