"...Cemeteries are a good place to accumulate information that can provide
insight into a community's social and economic structure, its religious
tenets, and its ethnic composition." - D. Gregory Jeane

Hi! My name is Stephanie Lincecum, and I would like to introduce you to
"Southern Graves." This website is your online guide to the history, the
research, the photography and the preservation of cemeteries in the Southern
United States. Genealogists, Historians, and the Curious are most welcome.

About Me

In addition to the information found throughout this site, I also author the
Southern Graves blog. Much of the information here is also on the blog,
but there is lots of stuff on the blog that's not here. So bookmark both!
