The following presentation was created using the official NIOSH report as a source of reference. Review the presentation as a shift. Afterwards, click the "Basement Fire Sims" button and spend some time working with the simulations, as they do relate to the presentation. Discuss IRRs, follow-up radio reports, assignments for 2nd and 3rd due companies, tactics, communications, flow path, and building construction. Then practice the operation using the training window located on the bay floor (bay 9). VEIS Powerpoint OPERATIONAL SOGS In 2019 a project was initiated by the department's officer corps to update our operational SOG/SOPs. The Blue Card Incident Command System and established Lake County Fire Chiefs SOGs were utilized as guidelines. The project was completed but the updates have yet to be formally adopted by the department. That being the case, the information is best served as training material.
