Australian Standards and CSIRO recommend getting a termite inspection at least

WHAT IS KORDON MADE OF?

Kordon comprises polyester webbing containing deltamethrin, a synthetic
pyrethroid. This is laminated between two UV stable low-density polyehylene
plastic sheets.


HOW DOES KORDON WORK?

Kordon is installed where termites may attempt to gain access into a building.
The deltamethrin in Kordon is highly repellent to termites and they will avoid
close contact with it. Where Kordon is installed the termites will seek
cellulose elsewhere or seek to go around the Kordon. When seeking to go around
the Kordon the termites will build their mud tubes, which will be detected
during an inspection by a suitably qualified timber pest inspector. We can then
take steps to manage the termite colony before they do any significant damage.

When a system like Kordon is not installed, termites get concealed access for a

BAYER PROTECTION WARRANTY

Bayer offers Australia’s most comprehensive termite protection system, the Bayer
Protection Program. If the building owner chooses to activate and be covered by

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE TERMITES?

Because they are secretive by nature it’s often very hard to know they are there
and it’s only until the damage is done or the infestation is out of hand that
you notice. Some signs of their presence are mud tunnelling against door frames
& skirting boards, specks of mud on walls and soft spots on floors.

Termites can infest a building at any-time even during its construction, regular

HOW DO YOU DO AN INSPECTION?

Our Technicians have a set routine when inspecting a home to ensure nothing is

They begin with the internals, sounding timbers and walls, to running a Moisture
Meter over timbers to detect unusual levels of moisture which can indicate
