Knn our national ceca bank don’t even have sms transaction notifications

that’s like first line of defense to fighting fraud, who daheck have time to go
check statements multiple times a day?

my experience with citi has also been very good. I've gotten a few fraud
transactions before but they always handled it well with little input from me.

IMHO.
Probably. Will need to re-evaluate. I think is likely past or even present
merchants.

It makes more sense to not hold any credit card. If the person doesn't bother
checking his/her phone, use one phone only also don't make sense.

same here. they even quickly block my credit card and reissue me with a new one
when they detected an overseas fraud making multiple txns on my card.

i also get annual subscription waivers every year since i signed up in 1997.

i worry once UOB takes over citibank sg retail banking, all these great services
will disappear.

I had v gd fraud monitoring experience with citibank too

when i travel overseas and charge card to merchants on their watchlist i get
calls immediately from them to verify if i just authorised my card

It looks like UOB is only taking over 4 retail markets in south east asia -
Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Singapore operations remains to be
under Citi. So we're still good!
