LIVE FLIGHTS IN MSFS

MSFS independent online IFR/VFR traffic injection system with stock ATC

EASY INSTALL

Easy installation, setup, and updates is our goal at FSLTL. Simple installer
automatically downloads and installs all available aircraft and paints ready for
takeoff in the virtual world.

OVER 1,750 AIRCRAFT LIVERIES WITH MORE BEING ADDED

Comprehensive set of liveries from all around the world from major international
to regional airlines. All custom painted in 4K for FSLTL with PBR effects.
Intelligent fallback system if no model or livery found.

NATIVE MODELS AND CUSTOM EFFECTS

Built with glTF models for better performance, reduced stutters, and CTD
avoidance. Improved ground roll on take-off and landing. Full effects including
custom lighting, contrails, heat haze and other effects including interaction
with jetways and ground services.

CUSTOM SOUNDS

Custom Wwise sound for each aircraft (and engine type in close future). Hear
planes start-up, spool up, reverse thrust, idle at varied speeds, and shutdown.

WHAT AIRCRAFT ARE INCLUDED? Expand

At this stage, the following aircraft are available, however the FSLTL Group is
working towards adding fully custom-built open-source models.

CONTRIBUTOR AND PERMISSION STATUS Expand

FSLTL is working towards fully in-house built open-source models in the future
however for now uses a number of models that have been around for some time,
updated for MSFS use.

FSLTL has full permissions for these models with the exception of FAIB. Members
of our group do have and had permissions from FAIB in previous projects, but not
specifically for MSFS use.

FSLTL has reached out to the original author on multiple occasions to establish
this, but have exhausted all means of contact and it would sadly appear that
they are no longer active in the AI/Sim community.

FSLTL will fully respect any permission status changes as we have done with
AIA's models, which are no longer available within FSLTL.

We appreciate that people will have differing views on this matter, however
FSLTL wishes to give a new life to their work, and to do it properly. We believe
in an honest and open approach; we will not be using any legal loopholes,
tricks, and half-measures seen in other projects to mask using others' models
under their brand.

We’ve put a lot of time and effort into these models, so they are used as they
were meant to be - as a lightweight, fully animated AI, properly credited and
for free.

If our concept of honor contradicts your feeling of justice - don’t use FSLTL,
IVAO, AIG, or any other project using these old models. Be consistent.

LIVERIES FAQ Expand

DO YOU HAVE AIG LIVERIES?

No.

WILL THERE BE AIRCRAFT SPECIFIC LIVERIES?

Yes, but they can be used only in conjunction with the FSLTL custom online
traffic since stock AI doesn’t provide tail numbers for commercial aircraft.

FRONTIER, JETBLUE, AIR INDIA EXPRESS AND OTHER AIRLINES WITH NON-HOMOGENOUS
FLEET?

Yes, both on FSLTL custom and stock Live AI. In case of the latter, it will be
purely random.

HISTORIC AND VIRTUAL AIRLINES?

Yes, but only for VATSIM use only. Note that these textures are included at a
lower 2K resolution.

COMPATIBILITY FAQ Expand

IS FSLTL COMPATIBLE WITH OTHER AI ADDONS? 

Maybe. Weird things can happen, however. Testing with other AI addons is not a
priority but can be considered for major products.

CAN I ADD 3RD PARTY AIRCRAFT TO BE HANDLED BY FSLTL ONLINE TRAFFIC?

Yes. However, it is not recommended to add legacy MDL or very detailed models
that are meant to be flown by the user. The former provokes crashes, and the
latter may drop your FPS in airports. If the FSLTL-provided patch for this
aircraft doesn’t exist, you may expect weird glitches and behavior with that
aircraft.

WILL FSLTL BE AVAILABLE VIA MSFS MARKETPLACE?

No.

CAN FSTL BE USED ON XBOX?

No.

CAN I USE AN FSLTL AIRCRAFT AS USER-FLYABLE?

No.

WHAT MODELS WILL COME TO FLSTL?

A full list can be found in the first FAQ topic. We hope to bring additional
models over time but that is highly dependent on availability of additional 3D
modelers and livery artist time.

CAN I MAKE A MODEL FOR AN ABSENT AIRCRAFT/MY GROUP IS DEVELOPING AN AIRCRAFT,
CAN YOU INCLUDE IT IN FSLTL?

Yes. Each case is very individual here, please contact us directly if you wish
to contribute to our 3D model team.

GA TRAFFIC?

Yes, with some model matching compromises.

MILITARY AIRCRAFT?

No. Not at launch, at least.
