At first I saw "Minecraft" and thought of my son hahaha. This looks pretty handy
- I have a basic no-frills Dewalt miter saw and it seems like this would be
handy for quickly transposing those tricky angled cuts

Was checking reviews and a few people are complaining that it's not accurate or
precise enough. Anyone have this and care to comment?

Was checking reviews and a few people are complaining that it's not accurate or
precise enough. Anyone have this and care to comment?

Don't own it myself, but I believe Sean Connery had endorsed it on a episode of
jeopardy, something about the angles being accurate while involving Alex
Trebecks mother.

Get a T- bevel and Sawset pro instead. It offers much better accuracy and
usefulness than this.

I've never found a consumer grade miter saw to be very accurate either plus I
think a lot of people (myself included) can miscalculate how much material the
blade removes. I think this is for getting close because if you AND your tools
were good enough you would not need a device to cheat. I'd bet 99% of the bad
reviews thinks spending $10 is going to compensate for their inexperience.*

*I see this a lot in shooting sports. People buy a better scope or trigger
thinking that will make them a better shot. Doesn't work that way. The weak link
is almost always the user. Once the user gets good enough then spending $$$
might help and generally only marginally.
