LOS ANGELES LEADERSHIP

William “Bill” Bodner, a 28 year veteran of the Drug Enforcement Administration,
assumed the role of Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement
Administration Los Angeles Field Division in June, 2019.  As the Special Agent
in Charge, Mr. Bodner is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of 14
offices located in Nevada, Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, and the seven Southern
California counties which make up the greater Los Angeles area.

Mr. Bodner previously served as an Associate Special Agent in Charge of the Los
Angeles Field Division from June, 2017 to May, 2019 and an Assistant Special
Agent in Charge of the Los Angeles Field Division from April, 2009 to May, 2017.

From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Bodner served as a Staff Coordinator at the Drug
Enforcement Administration’s Special Operations Division, in Chantilly,
Virginia.  While assigned to the Special Operations Division, Mr. Bodner
coordinated several high-level, multi-jurisdiction investigative operations and
worked on high value target capture operations and classified projects.  Between
1992 and 2006, Mr. Bodner worked the streets of Los Angeles as a Special Agent
and Group Supervisor.

Mr. Bodner has leveraged his extensive career in Los Angeles to develop and
improve upon partnerships with state, local and other federal agencies.  Mr.
Bodner’ s vision is to conduct very impactful investigations on the most
significant Drug Trafficking Organizations posing a threat to our region,
keeping in mind the goal of improving the quality of life for those in our
communities.

Mr. Bodner reminds all, drug trafficking is not a victimless crime.  The best
way to avoid becoming a victim is to find something in life you are passionate
about, don’t let drugs distract you from that passion and don’t ever let drugs
become the passion.


MICHAEL A. DAVIS, ASSOCIATE SPECIAL AGENT IN CHARGE

Michael Davis, a 21-year veteran of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA),
assumed the role of Associate Special Agent in Charge of the DEA Los Angeles
Field Division (LAFD) in January 2020.  As the Associate Special Agent in
Charge, Mr. Davis is responsible for the LAFD Diversion Control Program, the Los
Angeles High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA)-Southern California Drug
Task Force, the Honolulu District Office, Las Vegas District Office, Reno
Resident Office, Guam Resident Office, and the Saipan Post of Duty.

Mr. Davis previously served as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the LAFD
assigned to the Los Angeles HIDTA-Southern California Drug Task Force from
November 2017 to December 2019.

From 2015 until 2017, Mr. Davis was assigned to DEA Headquarters’ Office of
Inspections where he served as an Inspector and later a Senior Inspector.  The
team led by Mr. Davis inspected DEA’s domestic, foreign, and headquarters
offices to determine compliance with Department of Justice and DEA policies and
procedures.

Between 2009 and 2015, Mr. Davis was a Group Supervisor in the Little Rock
District Office overseeing a HIDTA Task Force Group.

From 1999 until 2009, Mr. Davis conducted investigations as a Special Agent in
multiple DEA offices.  In June 1999, Mr. Davis was recognized as the Outstanding
Student for his performance during Basic Agent Training at the DEA Academy.  As
such, he had the privilege of selecting his first assignment and began his DEA
career at the St. Louis Division.  From 2002 until 2004, Mr. Davis served on the
Charlotte Regional Enforcement Team.  Between 2004 and 2009, Mr. Davis worked at
the Indianapolis District Office. 

Prior to his work at the DEA, Mr. Davis was a police officer from 1994 until
1999.  Mr. Davis served in the Patrol Division with the Alton Police Department
and later Phoenix Police Department.  Mr. Davis also worked as a Recruit
Training Officer at the Arizona Law Enforcement Academy.  In all, Mr. Davis has
a combined 26 years of law enforcement experience and has enjoyed an array of
assignments targeting local, national, and international drug trafficking
organizations.


WILLIAM C. FALLIN, ASSOCIATE SPECIAL AGENT IN CHARGE

William “Curt” Fallin, a 28-year veteran of the Drug Enforcement Administration
(DEA), assumed the role of Associate Special Agent in Charge of the DEA Los
Angeles Field Division (LAFD) in March 2020.  As the Associate Special Agent in
Charge, Mr. Fallin aids in the development of the Division’s enforcement
strategy and manages resources and operations in Southern California.  Associate
Special Agent in Charge Fallin also oversees Enforcement, Intelligence, Fiscal,
and Administrative elements in Los Angeles, the Riverside District Office, and
the Orange County District Office.    

Prior to his work at the LAFD, Mr. Fallin served as the Assistant Special Agent
in Charge of the San Francisco Division from October 2018 through February 2020.

Mr. Fallin directed all enforcement operations in San Francisco, Oakland, and
San Jose. 

In 2015, Mr. Fallin was promoted to the Board of Professional Conduct and later
served as one of two Deciding Officials for the DEA from 2016 through 2018.  In
this role, Mr. Fallin reviewed internal investigations conducted by the DEA or
the Office of Inspector General and made disciplinary decisions for all DEA
General Schedule employees.

From 2010 until 2015, Mr. Fallin served as the Country Attaché for the DEA
London Country Office.  Under Mr. Fallin’s leadership, the first transnational,
undercover money laundering investigations were executed in conjunction with the
DEA’s major counterparts in the United Kingdom and Ireland. 

From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Fallin served as a Group Supervisor in the Atlanta Field
Division and led an active combination of local law enforcement and federal
personnel.  Between 2002 and 2006, Mr. Fallin worked as a Staff Coordinator at
the DEA Special Operations Division (SOD) in the Southwest Border Section.
 Prior to the SOD, Mr. Fallin worked as a Special Agent in Los Angeles from 1992
until 2002, and many of his investigations resulted in the successful
prosecution of several significant local, national, and international
traffickers.

Mr. Fallin is proud of how the DEA continues to adapt, improve, and be the
worldwide leader in drug law enforcement.
