families during times of hardship. MATW's Rice Bags program aims to address this
critical need by supplying essential rice to vulnerable communities. Your

Kaffarah

Kaffarah is given for fasts missed without excuse. For example, if someone
misses or breaks a fast in the month of Ramadan without a valid reason through
eating or sexual intercourse they would have to give Kaffarah. To make up for
the broken fast, they must free one slave and if unable to do so, they must fast
continuously for 60 days. If they are unable to do that, they have to give a
charitable compensation for the cost of an average meal for 60 poor people.
Paying a Kaffarah is also necessary in Islam for those who break a promise or an
oath.

Fidya

Fidya is given for fasts missed out of necessity, without intention. This is
where the person is unable to make up the fasts later on. For example, if
someone is ill, pregnant or elderly and cannot fast for the required number of
days, they would give fidya. Fidya must be paid for each fast missed during
Ramadan. If they are healthy enough to make up the fasts after Ramadan, it is
preferred for them to do so. This could be due to them being sick or travelling.

OUR PROMISE TO YOU:

Founded by Ali Banat in 2015, Muslims Around The World Project (MATW) is a
Global Islamic Charity working across 30 countries around the world. Our 100%

reaching those most in need.

Make the most of these last 10 nightsof Ramadan and seek Laylatul Qadr!

We've reached the last 10 nights of Ramadan!

The race for rewards in the final days of this blessed month is worth more than
we could possibly imagine. Any of the odd nights could be Laylatul Qadr.

Let’s seek out the night of power together by increasing our Ibadah and our
deeds.

Every Ramadan that Ali Banat, our founder, was blessed with before he passed, he
spent as though it was his last. Teaching us that every second we have is
precious and must be spent seeking Allah’s favor, whether it be through prayer,
Quran, dua, or good deeds.

In these final nights, let’s perform these good deeds and be the answer to
someone’s Duas.

Change lives with YOUR Zakatin these last 10 nights of Ramadan!

Seek Laylatul Qadr in these final nights of Ramadan and fulfil your obligation.

Why should you pay your Zakat Al Mal?

By paying your Zakat Al Mal, you will be fulfilling your religious obligation.
This is the same as praying your Salah or believing in Allah. It is a
commandment upon us and one of the five pillars of Islam. When you give your
Zakat Al Mal, Allah purifies your wealth, cleanses your sins and blesses you
with His bounty on this earth and the hereafter. Zakat Al Mal is a form of
worship to Allah.

Sadaqah Jariyah

Sadaqah Jariyah, the gift that keeps giving, is a charitable practice with
everlasting impact. Like Ali Banat, who left a legacy of Sadaqah Jariyah through
MATW, you too can do the same, contributing to a mosque or water well in your
name or for a loved one. This enduring act ensures positive change in the lives
of those in need, planting the seeds of everlasting rewards.

Ali Banat's Legacy

Remember our founder, Ali Banat?
Ali was and still is the perfect example that time is a blessing. At 27 years
old Ali was diagnosed with cancer. For some, this diagnosis would be terrifying
but for Ali, it was a gift.

Journey Towards Akhirah:
A Leap of Faith
He took a long and hard look at his life and decided that everything he had
accumulated in his short time on this earth wasn’t anything that he could
present to Allah SWT. He sold everything he had from the fast cars to the luxury
items, and booked the first flight to Togo in Africa and invested in his
Akhirah.

MATW: Serving the Ummah Globally
Fast forward eight years, Muslims Around The World (MATW) now serves the ummah
on a global scale.

Transformative Journeys: The Power of Your Donation
At MATW, we hold a firm belief in the strength of collective compassion. Your
donation marks the initiation of a transformative journey that will touch lives
and leave behind a legacy of positive change.
