From receiving the tickets in a beautiful holder with information to alighting back in York the experience was simply delightful. Bev star star star star star Had the most wonderful day on board the Northern Belle last Sunday to Bodnant Gardens & Conwy Castle, with my husband - we were married last month which made our day even more special. The staff were very attentive & ensured everyone were very looked after, being greeted with a glass of Belini as we boarded the train, melon with blueberries & yoghurt, a beautiful cooked breakfast followed by pastries, a glass of Belini, evening dinner served with a pre-ordered bottle of wine, a glass of Champagne, with tea & coffee served to us throughout the day. Despite it being a very hot day we had a super time and we are already planning another trip for a future date. Thank you Northern Belle ❤️ Mrs Parkinson star star star star star I booked the journey to Llandudno on Sunday 18th July 2021, for the first time & picked up the train in Huddersfield. This is just to let you know that despite the heat & problems caused by the weather & the fact only one kitchen was working on the Belle, it was one of the most enjoyable experience we have had. From being greeted by your staff until we returned by your staff at 7:25, everyone was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and even though we did not have the full 5 course meal on the way back (due to boiler) the alternative was not a disappointment. I can honestly say this will not be our last trip. Mrs Smith star star star star star I can’t put into words how fantastic a day we had from the moment we were on board. From the sumptuous, luxurious surroundings to the mouth-watering food and drink, the beautiful scenery and most importantly the friendly, courteous and attentive and hardworking staff who made us feel so special. It was an experience of a lifetime. Mrs Macdonald star star star star star The whole experience has been excellent, from booking through to the trip itself. On board staff were friendly and attentive without being over bearing. We will certainly be travelling again and have already recommended it to two friends who will be booking also. Food, staff the whole experience was excellent. Mr James star star star star star I booked this trip as a surprise for my parents. My Dad used to work on the railway and never dreamed he would be travelling on the Northern Belle in his lifetime. This was literally a dream come true. I hadn't seen him and mum so happy for years. Thank you to all involved for making the day so special. Mr Jackson star star star star star Thank you for a wonderful trip. As always the staff attentive and all our needs were catered for. The entertainment was excellent and nice to be welcomed back. Keep up the excellent service. Miss Blenkinsop star star star star star I had the most wonderful experience and I would like to particularly thank the staff for making mum and I feel like royalty for the day. It was certainly a day to remember and we will be returning sometime for another trip. We have recommended to so many of our friends. Mrs Sellick star star star star star Everything is out of this world - everyone is so lovely from the initial contact at the booking line through to everyone on the train. A truly magical experience. Mrs Lewis star star star star star The quality of the service on the train was impeccable as usual with the staff well informed, polite and helpful. The food was tasty, hot and decent sized portions and well presented. The carriages are stylish and very clean. The distancing and cleanliness practices were well thought out but not obtrusive. We will be travelling with Northern Belle again. star star star star star Well... what a fantastic experience. From the moment we stepped on board to when we left early evening we were treated to one of the most memorable days ever. The staff were most friendly, helpful and welcoming, the food was 'out of this world' and the train interior was luxurious. In our opinion this was worth every penny and we would definitely consider doing something like this again. Karen star star star star star PERFECT. As an Office Manager that is involved in events and manage expectation - basically a control freak - from the actual booking, menu changes and the actual day could not have been any better. Clearly you have done this before as being welcomed by name to our seats and the waiting staff were so kind and nothing was too much trouble - we had Barry - was such a good laugh and I even got a hug from him - we certainly seemed to hit it off.
