The Post Office Vaults is an independent freehouse located in the heart of
Birmingham and only a 2 minute walk from New Street Station.

We have a range of up to 8 perfectly kept real ales. Kinver First Class Stamp
and Hobson’s Mild are the regulars, with the First Class Stamp brewed especially
for us. We then have ever changing guest beers from micro-breweries around the
country. We are, however, renowned for our range of specialist foreign beers,
which currently stands at 212 different beers. in stock. Due to a number of
factors, mainly Covid and Brexit, this number has dropped from our proud total
of 365 before the lockdown. When we opened in December 2011 we had a range of 50
bottled beers but regularly increased this to week after week. Despite supply
issues we still have, by far, the largest range in Birmingham and one of the
largest in the country, and aim to get back to that magic number of 365, one for
every day of the year, again very soon.

We stock beers from Belgium, Germany, France, Norway, Holland, Austria and the
USA to name but a few. Our range covers virtually every beer style from the
palest golden lager, through fruit beers, the darkest stouts/porters, to the
best range of Lambics and sour Geuze beers.

If beer is not your thing we also have the largest selection of traditional
ciders and perries in Birmingham with a regularly changing range of up to 13.

We don’t serve food at the Post Office Vaults but you are more than welcome to
bring your own, we will provide the plates and cutlery.
