It seems you have clicked on a link in a Phishing Simulation email.

Please read the below guidance to learn more about phishing red flags
recognition.

HSBC is one of the most attacked financial institutions in the world, and
Phishing continues to remain one of the most common and dangerous attacks. Due
to the seriousness of this threat, HSBC regularly facilitate Global Phishing
Simulation Tests to increase awareness amongst our employees. Keeping the Bank
safe is our joint responsibility.

IS THE EMAIL FROM A SUSPICIOUS SENDER?

 * I don't recognize the sender's email address as someone I ordinarily
   communicate with.
 * The sender is outside my organization and it's not related to my job
   responsibilities.

DOES THE CONTENT OF THE EMAIL LOOK ODD OR INCORRECT?

 * The email address contains a suspicious domain. For example @hscb.com instead
   of @hsbc.com.
 * I hover my mouse over a link in the email, but the link-to address is for a
different website (a big red flag.)
 * The email misspelt links. For example, www.bankofarnerica.com - the 'm' is
   composed of 'r' and 'n.'
 * The email subject is irrelevant or does not match the message in the email.
 * The email has an attachment that I didn’t expect or makes no sense in
relation to the message in the email.

IS THE SENDER COMMUNICATING IN AN ODD OR ILLOGICAL WAY THAT MAKES YOU FEEL
UNCOMFORTABLE?

 * The sender insists I click a link or open an attachment to avoid a negative
   consequence.
 * The sender create a sense of urgency around the action they require from you.
 * The sender requests I click a link or for me to gain something of value.
