Charles J Farrugia
advisor to the board

With many years experience on the boards of several, high profile, publicly
listed companies in several sectors, Charles is a very well respected financial
expert and business strategist with a clear sense of vision and leadership. A
champion of change and innovation in business organisations, he is also very
keen on long haul travel and is a firm believer in a healthy work life balance.

Adam Brockdorff
director

Adam, who has a passion for digital marketing, branding and advertising, has
over 12 years’ experience with client campaigns across diverse sectors such as:
FMCG, Retail, Luxury, Telcos, iGaming, Hospitality, Public Sector and
Corporate/Financial Services.

Combining a strong aesthetic sense with a street-wise savviness and
well-grounded understanding of effective marketing strategies, Adam – who has
worked both on the client and agency side – is an invaluable senior team member,
adding value to key areas such as:

David Brockdorff
managing director

David is a highly experienced communications consultant and campaign leader,
with 30 years senior-level experience across various sectors both in Malta and
other markets. He combines deep-rooted consumer insights, and a pragmatic
hands-on approach with an extensive knowledge of marketing communications
planning.

He has also worked extensively on crafting messaging and campaign narratives for
a number of sensitive campaigns and assignments in both public and private
sectors, and advised on public relations, media relations and public affairs.

He served for several years on the Executive Council of The Malta Employers
Association, as a Board Director of Beacon Media Group (Catholic Church Media
organisation), and past member of Council of The University of Malta.

He holds an MA in Marketing Management from the University of Lancaster (UK) and
a BA Hons in Business Management from the University of Malta.

Noellie Brockdorff
non executive director

Professor Brockdorff, a cognitive scientist and consumer behaviour consultant,
holds a Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham, and is Dean of the Faculty of
Media and Knowledge Sciences at the University of Malta. She is involved in a
number of EU-wide research projects. She’s keen on good books, fine dining,
cricket and football.

INTERNATIONAL

As we embark on the next phase of our agency’s journey, we’ve always had an
international outlook. Indeed, with our unique European/Mediterranean
background, we have grown to understand, and work well within, different
cultural contexts. We also have experience with various public relations,
visibility, digital and advertising projects in Cyprus, North and East Africa
and the Middle East.


WHERE WE’VE COME FROM

Tracing its origins back to 1958, BPC was founded by Maltese communications
industry pioneer Joseph ‘JB’ Brockdorff and operated as a full-service
advertising and marketing communications agency for some 65 years.

Over the decades, BPC became an acknowledged leader and industry benchmark,
setting high standards and consistently adhering to them, whilst operating in an
ethical and equitable way with all stakeholders. Blessed with a long-standing
core team of loyal like-minded employees, it enjoyed the support of major client
organisations over long decades of mutually profitable business.

Following a strategic review early in 2022, the Board embarked on a leaner and
more agile operating model, with a wider international focus, providing
communications-related consultancy and related services to an array of clients
in diverse markets.

Digital Specialist

We are looking for a team player who will create great content and manage
various social media accounts for clients, as well as monitor performance,
analyse new social media trends, brainstorm and action new content ideas and
strategies.

Creatives

We are very much on the lookout for talented, motivated, and switched on
creative designers. With creativity and technical ability in equal doses, and
some agency experience, you’ll also need to be flexible, resilient and possess
strong team-working skills. A sense of humour may also help.
