We are Australia's first online learning platform tailored to the specific needs
of the Australian Railway Industry. A candidate who has completed the full
PreTrain program, is a motivated candidate who is aware, prepared and is serious
about becoming a driver - a long term investment for a railway operator.



Here at PreTrain, our aim is to fill the gap between people who are interested
in beginning a career driving trains and gaining their first job as a trainee
driver.




We aspire to guide, support, mentor, inspire encourage and prepare candidates
for entry to driver traineeships. Our simplified video lessons within the
courses are designed to be generic to all sectors of the industry in Australia.




PreTrain graduates are prepared for entry to the suburban passenger, regional
passenger, general freight and heavy-haul sectors.

   – the course information provided is inclusive of all states & operations,
   and provides the student a high level overview of examples of basic railway
   terminology & operational concepts, designed to provide a basic foundation of
   knowledge, ready for the classroom at any railway operation - ready for

PreTrain has been designed, created and produced by a current Australian train
driver (who has also been a trainee driver), for aspiring train drivers wishing
to apply to driver traineeships with ANY Australian railway company in any
state, or through other relevant career path avenues.

We understand the importance of efficiency and accuracy in career preparation.
Our video-lesson based training ensures a hassle-free experience for candidates.
Moreover, the entire course has been designed to be undertaken in less than a
day in one go, or at the candidates leisure in between other things at any time
of their choosing - 24/7.




The topics have been crafted to provide a "from the ground up" approach to
preparing for entry to the industry - where there is more of what is specific to
rail, less of what isn't, and includes important aspects of the modern railway
