COMMENCEMENT: CLASS OF 2024

> The livestream for the 2024 Commencement ceremony will begin at 5:20 p.m. on
> Friday, May 24. The ceremony will start at 5:30 p.m. 

 



We are looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2024 at San Francisco State
University’s 123rd Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Oracle
Park. This is the eighth year the downtown ballpark will host the more than
30,000 graduates, family members and friends anticipated for the celebration.
More information about the May 24 ceremony will be shared throughout the year as
it becomes available.

MESSAGE TO THE CLASS OF 2024 FROM SF STATE'S PRESIDENT

Class of 2024,

I look forward to celebrating with you this spring as you reach a major
milestone in both your educational journey and life — graduation. These years
have been full of memorable moments, new discoveries and the satisfaction of
meeting challenges. It is with great pleasure that I invite you and your family
and loved ones to San Francisco State’s 123rd commencement ceremony.

Your commencement will be held at Oracle Park on Friday, May 24, 2024, with the
processional beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Commencement ceremony is the
University's tribute to you, and it is our opportunity to recognize your
achievements, your degree and your transition to becoming a member of our
distinguished family of alumni.

Many faculty members with whom you have studied will join us at the ceremony, as
well as other distinguished guests to mark the achievements of the Class of
2024.

By many individual paths, you have each achieved this major goal. Some of you
have been able to pursue your studies full time while others have reached this
moment by a longer route, combining work, family responsibilities or both with
your academic program. You are, now and for all the years to come, one of ours —
alumni of San Francisco State University.

Congratulations on the realization of this notable goal and on work well done. I
hope you and those close to you will join us for a joyful expression of the
University's pride in you. I look forward to seeing you on the field at Oracle
Park.
