FOCUS ON DRINKING WATER PRODUCTION
A visit focusing on drinking water solutions will take you to Truelsbjergvaerket
or Bedervaerket, Aarhus Vand's showcases of optimal drinking water safety. Here,
you will learn about how we manage groundwater protection in a country where all
of our drinking water is groundwater. You will also be shown how we focus on
drinking water safety and quality in our supply chain.
These facilities show how our waterworks are setting new operational standards
in Denmark to ensure clean drinking water to our customers.

FOCUS ON WASTEWATER TREATMENT
A visit with focus on wastewater treatment will take you to either Egaa WWTP or
Marselisborg WWTP. Here, you will be able to see how we turn wastewater into a
valuable fertiliser. Also, you will learn about how we have turned an existing
wastewater treatment plant into a power plant of green energy.
A part of our wastewater treatment task is also to ensure the quality of the
bathing water in Brabrand Lake and in our harbour, which we will share our
solutions on. Last, we will share knowledge on how we separate rainwater from
wastewater and our solutions to the challenges posed by climate change, such as
applying online real-time control of heavy rainfall.
