     I stayed at the resort on a business trip. Next time I stay, it will be for
     pleasure so I can enjoy at my leisure.
     There are so many things to do, or if one is feeling lazy, there is plenty
     of time for that too.
     Conveniently located. Easy to get to. Amazing views. Friendly staff.

     CHANGE RESERVATION
     
     I arrived from long flight to discovered my reservation was change to a
     parking view. Originally, I reserved a golf and lazy river view. Instead, I
     had parking view. Their excused for the change very unsatisfactory. We had
     a convention and your room was given to another customer. The reason they
     gave my room; I make the reservation using military rate.
     
     Why are Marriot offers military rates if plan not to honor the deal?
     
     I am a retired USAF with 22 years of service. And, I felt like a second
     hand citizen. I was given a parking view and 60 dollars discount. I flew
     from Florida to get a parking view and 60 dollars discount.

     The expectations were high. The Signature restaurant was the low point of
     the stay. Our server was as attentive as she could have been since she was
     also busy with a large party of at least ten people. The maître d' had to
     be asked to fill our water glasses. I ordered a Medium Ribeye and my wife
     ordered an Medium-Well Ribeye. Both Ribeye's were Rare to Medium Rare.
     Everything else was nice. would like to get a room with a king instead of a
     two queens, Understandable due to the Tucson Firefighter Association event.

     COCKROACH OVERCROWDED AND DATED
     
     Large cockroach in the room. No phone service in the room, even with wi-fi.
     mix matched dated furnishing. Understaffed or just slow service attempting
     to get food or drinks in the bar. Probably because all other restaurants
     onsite closed by 8 on a Friday night. Food was not bad once it arrived, but
     a little overpriced. Way too many people to follow COVID-19 distancing. Not
     what you would expect for a JW resort.

     A very pleasant resort and great site for a conference. Food options are a
     bit pricey but there are many restaurant options a short drive away. Really
     appreciated the fridge in the room for quick access to snacks between
     conference sessions and that our room was close to the conference set up.
     The meals prepared for us as part of the conference (National Ayurvedic
     Medical Association) we’re fantastic!

Just steps outside of our golf resort in Tucson, this course offers unsurpassed
views. With dramatic elevation changes and the swirling winds created by the
Tucson Mountains, these nine holes will truly test players of all levels. (3,241

Creation of the Roadrunner Course

Founded 120 years ago when Richard Starr blazed a trail through the Tucson
Mountains, Starr Pass is home to our resort, our golf school and our three
nine-hole golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer. Coyote's sixth fairway marks
Mr. Starr's trail and is distinguished today as the signature hole at Starr Pass
Golf Club.

The Starr Pass Golf Club site was personally selected by PGA Tour Commissioner
Dean Beaman. When he saw the site for the first time, he was instantly inspired
by the natural beauty and rugged terrain. With the help of renowned golf course
designer Bob Cupp and PGA Tour professional Craig Stadler, they created a
world-class TPC golf facility.

Starr Pass Golf Club hosted the annual Tucson Open between 1987 and 1996. During
that time, the third (#3 Rattler) and fifth holes (#5 Rattler) were rated two of
the most difficult on the PGA Tour, with the average score for 18 holes ranking
among the highest on tour as well.

A true dessert course, natural elements are used as hazards while showcasing
majestic vistas of the Catalina Mountains. Legends such as Arnold Palmer, Phil
Mickelson, Payne Stewart, and Nancy Lopez have carved their way through this
historic golf course.

This course begins with a stunning view of Tucson and the surrounding mountain
ranges. Hole 5 is one to remember. This demanding Par 5 with a split fairway
will leave you very pleased if you are lucky enough to earn your par here while
enjoying golf in Tucson. (3,490 yards)

PHIL MICKELSON’S PGA WINS AT STARR PASS

Phil Mickelson's 1991 victory at Star Pass Golf Club, which would be the first
of three in the Tucson Open, resulted in Starr Pass becoming a significant part
of golf history. The victory was a springboard into his professional career, as
he was still an amateur and student at Arizona State University. Mickelson
became the fourth golfer in PGA history to achieve this accomplishment as an
amateur.


COYOTE COURSE

Enjoy a very serene and quiet area of the Tucson golf course where you are
likely to see wildlife wandering about in their natural habitat. This stretch of
holes just might afford you the delightful company of jackrabbits, quail or

GREEN GAME

A Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary through the Audubon Cooperative
Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses, Starr Pass Golf Club demonstrates a high
degree of quality environmental stewardship. We received our certification
through environmental planning, wildlife, and habitat management, outreach,
education, water conservation, and water quality management.


ACCESSIBILITY

Our Eagle Single Rider golf car is available to our mobility impaired guests for
their use when using our Tucson golf course and practice facilities. Please
contact the golf shop for reservations and to ensure availability.

CLUBHOUSE

Hungry golfers can choose from a variety of menu items including barbecue
prepared with specialty sauces and rubs made in-house. Starr Pass' Executive
Chef has carefully crafted the menu to include a delicious selection of smoked
meats and Southwestern specialties.

Kids Golf For Free
Inspire the Love of the Game in a Jr. Golfer

Designed to promote the game of golf among young people, Kids Golf-4-Free allows
kids 15 years old and under to play golf in Tucson for free after 3 p.m. when
accompanied by a full-paying adult. 

In addition, Kids Rent-4-Free provides junior golfers participating in Kids
Golf-4-Free with a free rental set of Accu-Length clubs for use during their
rounds. Available at select Marriott golf properties, Kids Golf-4-Free also
enables kids to receive a free golf lesson in Tucson, AZ, when accompanied by an
adult who is taking a fully paid golf lesson from a Marriott golf instructor.
The program is based on availability, and restrictions may apply.

How It Works

Free Play: After 3 p.m. daily, kids 15 years old and under play free when
accompanied by a full-paying adult. One free round per kid is valid for each
full-paying adult.
