SOLID BUSINESS FIGURES FOR 2022 CONFIRM BMW GROUP STRATEGY

The BMW Group met its targets for 2022, as forecasted, and thus delivered a
strong operating performance in a difficult business environment. The premium
manufacturer significantly increased Group EBT (€ 23,509 million/ +46.4%) and
net profit (€ 18,582 million/ +49.1%) from the previous year.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption were measured using
the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They
refer to vehicles on the automotive market in Germany. For ranges, the NEDC
figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while
the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures are already calculated on the basis of the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC
values listed have been calculated back to the NEDC measurement procedure where
applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the definition of taxes and
other vehicle-related levies that are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where
applicable, for the purposes of vehicle- specific subsidies. Further information
on the WLTP and NEDC measurement procedures is also available at bmw.de/wltp.

Round two of the FIM Superbike World Championship 2023 (WorldSBK) at Mandalika,
Indonesia, began with promising results on Saturday. In Superpole qualifying,
Loris Baz landed his bike on sixth place on the grid. Race one saw Michael van
der Mark finish sixth after an impressive fightback. Sunday, however, turned out
to be a wretched day with misfortune in the races and injuries.

After a short but busy winter break, BMW Motorrad Motorsport kicked off the 2023
FIM Superbike World Championship with the new BMW M 1000 RR at Phillip Island,
Australia. The ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team and the Bonovo action BMW Racing
Team claimed top-ten finishes, but on the whole it was a challenging weekend for
both teams and the four BMW factory riders Scott Redding (GBR), Garrett Gerloff
(USA), Michael van der Mark (NED) and Loris Baz (FRA).

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption were measured using
the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They
refer to vehicles on the automotive market in Germany. For ranges, the NEDC
figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while
the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures are already calculated on the basis of the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC
values listed have been calculated back to the NEDC measurement procedure where
applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the definition of taxes and
other vehicle-related levies that are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where
applicable, for the purposes of vehicle- specific subsidies. Further information
on the WLTP and NEDC measurement procedures is also available at bmw.de/wltp.
