Civilian workers' compensation costs average $43.07 per hour worked in March
2023

Employer costs for civilian workers averaged $29.70 per hour worked for wages
and salaries and $13.36 for benefits in March 2023. Compensation costs were
$16.54 at the 10th wage percentile, $32.80 at the median, and $82.96 at the 90th
percentile.
