services? Are you trying to obtain accommodations through an IEP (Individualized
Education Plan) or Section 504?  Do you spend hours every day doing homework? Is

drive anywhere, get late or lost to appointments. All testing is done in the
comfort and privacy of the student’s own home. Our mission is to enable all

WHY US?

If you’re considering private testing, make the process painless.  Aside from
the convenience of not having to drive anywhere, get late or lost
for appointments, our EXCLUSIVE at-home testing services has numerous proven
advantages:

REDUCES TEST ANXIETY

Students are tested in their own home by a licensed school psychologist who
travels to location. By testing in a familiar environment and comfort zone, we
virtually eliminate ‘test anxiety’. With anxiety out of the way, students are
able to put forth their best effort, resulting in more accurate results and
diagnosis.

PRIVACY & SAFETY

Avoid sitting in a waiting room with strangers. At home testing ensures a level
of privacy preferred by families and students.

In addition, at-home testing helps reduce unnecessary exposure to communicable
diseases from office waiting rooms. Rest assured that our psychologists are
fully vaccinated and continue to follow Covid19 safety protocols that are in
alignment with CDC guidelines for in-person services.

TIME EFFICIENCY

Our company has developed a meticulous time efficient system where one visit is
all that is required. After the student is tested, results (scores, diagnosis,
recommendations) are emailed in a PDF report within 2 business days or sooner.
All cases are treated with urgency.

EXPERTISE

Because your psychologist is mobile throughout the state and not confined to an
office space in one geographical location, the volume and diversity of cases
translate into a high level of expertise. Rexach has over 20 years experience,
beginning with her internship in 1997,  identifying specific learning
disabilities such as dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD and many other
childhood developmental, mood and behavioral disorders.

She collaborates with all public and private schools, colleges, universities and
other academic institutions throughout the state of Florida and nationwide.

received psychoeducational reports from Child-Testing.

AFFORDABILITY

Are you concerned with the cost of private testing?   Our rates are one of the
most affordable in the country. In special cases, we can work with your budget.
We encourage you to obtain quotes from other centers before calling us.

SERVING ALL OF FLORIDA and FL Keys

How to prepare for at-home testing

“Private testing should not be unaffordable. We want to make it possible for
every student to have equal access to a good education. Schools rarely test for
learning impairments, and when they do, it takes several years before any action
is taken. Meanwhile, students with undetected LD’s and their parents are left to
struggle for years.”   –Michelle Rexach, M.A. School Psychology & founder of
Child-Testing.

RESOURCE CENTER

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MUCH DOES TESTING COST?

Fees range from $395 to $900 per student (vs thousands charged by other centers)
depending on the type of assessment, tests administered and your geographical
location. Siblings tested the same day receive a $50 discount. We do not accept
medical insurance. Payment is due in full on the day of testing. Methods of
payment are personal or certified checks, money orders, cash, Venmo, CashApp and
PayPal. Call for more details (813)468-6528, or fill out this form for a quote.

WHY DO FEES VARY SO MUCH AMONG PROFESSIONALS FOR THE SAME TYPE OF TESTING?

Professionals working in the same geographical area may charge different rates
for what appears to be the same type of service. Many find there is little
negotiating room for their fees when the overhead associated with expensive
office space is a factor. Another reason for the discrepancy in rates is because
the choice of testing instruments used to assess different abilities varies
greatly among professionals in the field. Experienced clinicians find that less
instruments are needed to arrive at similar conclusions. This being said, only
learning disabilities that are recognized by IDEA can qualify a student for
accommodations or services. If the parent’s purpose of testing is to obtain
accommodations for their child, our testing process is the most time and cost
effective approach. Taking this into account, Florida Psychological Testing
ensures not only affordable rates, but also very high quality service and
accurate reports which are accepted by all academic institutions.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE QUOTED PRICE FOR TESTING?

-Home testing services (tests are conducted in your own home by a licensed
school psychologist)

-Comprehensive, descriptive/graphical report with the diagnosis. *We do not hand
out generic computer generated printouts*

-Specific and detailed recommendations for home and school (i.e.: requests for
extended testing time, special classroom accommodations and/or placement,
revisions to IEP’s, 504 Plans, targeted tutoring, referrals for therapy and
other follow up interventions)

-Post-assessment phone meeting to discuss results and recommendations. This
includes parents and authorized third parties (i.e. school
counselor/psychologist, teacher, social worker).
