Hyderabad, India. His early contribution was in Mathematical Systems Theory
wherein is gave algebraic -geometric necessary and sufficient conditions for
feedback stabilizability of n-D systems. The papers on these conditions are
still being cited after 25 years. He has written many other papers in feedback
theory which are cited by researchers. Recently he showed that the averaging
model of linearization of switched converters popular in Power Electronics
needed a Mathematically rigorous approach and has proposed a new discrete-time
model which is being found useful by the community. For over 15 years he has
been actively working in Cryptology and Computation and has proposed new
families of encryption algorithms as well as has proposed a new approach to
Cryptanalysis based on black box computations.

BIOGRAPHY

Dr OLIVER DZOBO is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical &
Electronic Science Engineering at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa,
since November 2016. Prior to joining the University of Johannesburg, I have
been involved in various projects including the national energy efficiency audit
project in Zimbabwe. I was the project leader in the energy efficiency audit of
the mining and manufacturing sectors. The project involved developing baseline
energy efficiency benchmarks for various industrial and residential sectors in
the country and developing policy framework for the energy regulator to
implement in order to promote energy efficiency in the country. Current research
topics I am pursuing involves the implementation of new energy system
optimization algorithms in smart grids that will provide the electricity user
and the power utility with the capability to manage risk, pollutants emission,
and energy efficiency directly, along with reducing costs, the possibility of
taking financial positions where available, long term and inter-period
Conditional Value-at risk (CVaR) constraints. This also include the use of
Blockchain technology application in energy delivery between peer prosumers for
optimal and secure operation of the power system network.

ABOUT VALENCIA, SPAIN

Valencia is one of the largest and most famous cities in Spain. The city has a
perfect geographical location: it is situated on the banks of the Turia River,
which flows into the Mediterranean Sea. So, for centuries Valencia had been a
key point during knockdown battles between Romans, Visigoths, Christians and
Moors to be owned by.

You will find beaches right in the very heart of it. During the summer-months it
is heavily visited by tourists, and if you want to spend holidays at the beach,
with fantastic possibilities for any kind of sports (golf, diving, cycling,
tennis, etc. are all very popular here) and a boiling nightlife, together with
an ample cultural offer, then Valencia is the place for you.

Important trade fairs confirm Valencia's position as one of the most dynamic
cities in Spain, as does the spectacular Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, the
"City of Arts and Sciences", a newly constructed area of the city boasting
extravagant architecture.
The best time Valencia is in April and May, the sweet spot full of warm weather
and void of crazy crowds.
