<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The School District of Mauston is considering an operational referendum in November 2024 to maintain educational programming due to inflationary pressures and inadequate funding from the state. </span>
</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Mauston School Board is asking school district residents to participate in a survey to evaluate the district’s needs, consider possible solutions, and contribute feedback.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The anonymous survey, which the Donovan Group will administer, will be open through June 14. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Each adult in our community is invited to participate. </span><span
style="font-weight: 400;">The estimated time to complete the survey is 10 minutes. We respect your time, value your feedback, and want to emphasize the importance of your participation. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We would like to stress the importance of your feedback. The school board will use your feedback to evaluate solutions that meet community needs, are financially responsible, and maintain a high-quality
education. Please look for a summary of the survey results, which the school board will share in the coming weeks. </span></p>
