There are over 100,000 shoe manufacturers and leather tanneries in the world.
But online, we can know only a very small part of them. And we have the illusion
that they are all there is in the world.

The world created by online is an abstraction of the real world. It's like a
map. And those places not on the map are blind spots for us.

Some ateliers make extremely high-quality shoe works in these blind spots. Among
of them, the ateliers called GSA (Guild-System Atelier) are at the summit level.

Gießbach is a non-profit organization for saving and distributing the works of
GSAs.

When we humans see extremely beautiful art or scenery, we want to show them to
someone else.

Just like that, we have always wanted our friends to receive special shoe works,
not just ourselves. Each member is touched by the works and wishes "I want to
impress my friends with these works." Gießbach is driven by these wishes.

Gießbach has launched this online studio "Gießbach Schuhgilde" to distribute the
special shoe works all over the world.
