Walkthrough Video GETTING STARTED WITH MFA Starting in January 2024, CyberArk will mandate the use of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to access CyberArk’s integrated tech hub, which includes the Technical Community, Partners Portal, FedRAMP Community, CyberArk University and Marketplace. Tech hub users can leverage either the CyberArk Identity mobile app, the Salesforce Authenticator app or your preferred OTP authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, to register their Multi-Factor Authentication with. The recommended app is Salesforce Authenticator. After MFA has been mandated on the tech hub, a Connect Salesforce Authenticator pop-up window will appear the next time you login to one of the following CyberArk portals: * Technical Community * Partners Portal * FedRAMP Community * CyberArk University * CyberArk Marketplace The Connect Salesforce Authenticator window will prompt you to register a verification method. You’ll use this method as your second authentication factor. Salesforce allows several types of verification methods for MFA, including: * The CyberArk Identity mobile app * The Salesforce Authenticator mobile app * Time-based, one-time password apps, like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator * Or security keys such as Yubico’s YubiKey or Google’s Titan Security Key Below you'll find a walkthrough video on how to enroll MFA on the tech hub. This video should support your preferred enrollment method, further described below. SETTING UP MFA WITH CYBERARK IDENTITY Customers of the CyberArk Identity Security Platform (ISP) or CyberArk Identity should use the CyberArk Identity mobile app for registration, as this will provide the best experience. This is supported on both iOS and Android. If you do not use CyberArk Identity today, we’d recommend leveraging the Salesforce Authenticator or your preferred authenticator app. To use the CyberArk Identity mobile app, follow these steps: 1. From the Connect Salesforce Authenticator window select the 'Choose Another Verification Method' at the bottom. 2. Select 'Use verification codes from an authenticator app' and click Continue. 3. A QR code should appear. 4. Open the CyberArk Identity mobile app and from the side menu, open Passcodes. 5. In the bottom right-hand corner, press the Add Account button (“+”), press Scan QR Code and scan the QR code on the screen to add the account to the app. 6. Input the Verification Code from the app over on the Authenticator app and you'll be signed into the CyberArk portal you were logging into. At this point, you’ve successfully connected the CyberArk Identity mobile app to your tech hub account, and you'll be signed into the CyberArk portal you were logging into. SETTING UP MFA WITH SALESFORCE AUTHENTICATOR To use the Salesforce Authenticator method, follow these steps: 1. Install Salesforce Authenticator onto your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play. 2. Launch the Salesforce Authenticator app on your mobile device and select the Add an Account button. 3.
