PHOENIX — Air treatment system manufacturing company XNRGY announced Monday it
would be building a headquarters in metro Phoenix and create more than 900 jobs
over time.

The company designs and manufactures HVAC systems that aim to reduce costs and
improve energy efficiency, with the new 1-million-square-foot headquarters
representing an estimated $300 million investment for the privately-held XNRGY.

XNRGY’s products are used in hyperscale and modular data centers, health care
facilities, clean rooms, hydroponic agriculture and life sciences facilities,
according to the official website.

The facility will increase the company’s manufacturing footprint and focus on
research and development, according to a press release.

“We are grateful XNRGY has chosen Arizona as the site of its U.S. headquarters,”
Gov. Doug Ducey said in the release.

“XNRGY’s investment strengthens Arizona’s supply chain and shows once again
there is no better state for advanced manufacturing. XNRGY’s facility will
create hundreds of high-wage jobs for Arizonans, adding to our state’s skilled
workforce.”

Construction is set to begin in June and the initial phase of the facility is
expected to be complete early next year, the company said, with all phases
finished by June 2025.

“With our two state-of-the-art facilities working in tandem to manufacture
premier climate systems, XNRGY can offer exceptional service to our clients from
the East to the West coast,” Sham S. Ahmed, president and general manager of
Montreal – XNRGY Climate Systems, said in the release.

“Top-notch engineers have already been engaged to meet the rising demands for
our advanced technologies.”
