(in a rental at North Ward)They did a brilliant job on the steps and a new roof and not only that, they cleaned everything and put all my stuff back so neatly when they left.Thanks so much guys.Very happy, highly recommend. Kirsten Buchholz 8 years ago Very approachable bloke, a genuine lad who’s honest an up front. Would highly recommend Shane an his team. Reese Livock 5 years ago Shane and his team were prompt, reliable and extremely helpful. He accommodated all my needs and even ticked off a wish list item by changing out to a mixer tap in my kitchen which was out of the scope of works quoted. Nothing was too much trouble.Shane repaired flooring and joists where the old bathtub went through the floor then remodeled and reconfigured the layout within the limited space available as per my request. This was 7 years ago and it still looks as smart and functions as well as handover day. Testament to the use of quality materials and superior workmanship. If I could post a pic I would. It's my favourite room in the home.I have now engaged him to undertake the necessary repairs sustained from the 2019 Flood. So thankful he can accommodate me. I highly recommend Shane and his team, you can trust that he will look after you during this trying time. Our bathroom has opened up considerably and has a cleaner, calmer feel. Thanks to Brad the tiler for his A1 ideas and ability as well as our young carpenter both of whom were fantastic with communicating as the job progressed. We will definitely be seeking a quote when it's the kitchen's turn! SM 9 months ago Totally happy with Shane and the team. Our old ensuite fully transformed and he was able to accomodate all our requests with no fuss. Would recommend the team if you are thinking a renovation Ben 10 months ago Website is a bit misleading, they will only take on big jobs so not even interested to come and provide a quote. yvonne schmidt a year ago We used Shane Firmin for a complete bathroom makeover. We found that his workmanship was very unprofessional. The tiles in the shower recess are uneven and the water does not disperse. Soap falls out of the soap holder. Old toilet waste pipe left in floor and tiled over. The floor boards are all split from the wrong size nails being used. Nail gun usage split all the batons timber and all nails proceeding out of the timber. Used incorrect size timber for noggins they were 25mm short. They used the linen cabinet as a tool cupboard. They put in a linen shoot and all the timbers never matched up. Was informed that they are carpenters not cabinet makers. They glued in the ceiling vent because could not put it up properly and when I took it down it pulled the plaster from ceiling..We did not even get an allowance for the toilet in the quoted. A lot of short cuts. When we complained we are given excuses after excuses. We have the photos. Lynne Prest a year ago Just had my bathroom renovated by Shane and his crew. What a transformation.
