* With North America Connect, you can make calls, send texts (both SMS

Mexico and Canada, make sure Data Roaming is toggled ON in your phone

Verifizierter Kauf
I bought the kit from Amazon and got $5 off the kit and a free month of service.
It was delivered the next day.
I had to pay a surcharge and taxes on the first month which was $1.84. So my
first month was $21.84, including the startup kit and first months service.
Activating the service was quite a headache and took quite awhile to complete.
The instructions were not provided. I literally had to figure out all of it on
my own.
The chip itself comes on a big card which when you pop the chip out can be
broken down three times into a very small chip to fit different phones.
My phone has a big slot and a small slot and I did not know which one it went
into. After messing around with it for a long time and trying both slots I
finally broke it down to the smallest chip which could have been wrong and could
have cost me another $20 if I was wrong.
Luckily I was right and it worked out. I wish I would have had Instructions
right from the start on what size was correct.
Once the chip was in I had to download the app. Once I downloaded the app, that
still wasn't the end of the startup process and I followed the pop up
instructions and it said it was completed but I couldn't make calls. Luckily I
accidentally clicked on something that connected me via chat text to customer
support. I'm glad I accidentally clicked on it because it was no clear on how to
connect to help from the app.
There is just a little "?" at the top right of the screen and that's it.
Customer service instructed me to download the dish network app and then the
dish network app instructed me to install yet another app and then things
finally started working. These Instructions should have been included or should
be on the Infinite app and pop up right at install instead of leaving the
customer to figure it all out on their own. If the instructions are on the app,
it is not clear to someone who's never used the app where the instructions are.
My 82 year old mother was trying to set up hers at the same time and we were
both frustrated at the setup process.
The setup process it not as easy as just throwing the new chip in. If you don't
have wifi at the time of install it will be impossible for you to complete.
I got it set up in August 9 and it is now Aug 25. I use home WiFi when I'm home
and WiFi when I am at work. I have used 0.07 GB so far with 16 days to go in the
billing cycle.
So far I am happy with the service. The initial setup was a real test of
patience but since it's down I am happy with the service and have had no
problems so far. My first month was free so I am anxious to see what my true
bill will be. It should be $26.82 according to what I've already paid but other
companies I've been with gave added various frees so I don't know if this
company will do that or not.
I am happy that I switched to Boost Infinite from Verizon. Verizon was getting
way too expensive.

No issues ordering SIM kit and receiving it.
SIM kit has 3 card sizes.
My phone is an unlocked LG V30s that has been on Tmobile's network since 2018.
Summary:
- 08/01/2023
During activation call, phone was listed as compatible.
Ported number.
Calls to my number were going directly to Boost Voicemail.
90 mins on phone
Phone's Settings page shows SIM setup for Tmobile network.
Outbound calls, mobile data and SMS/MMS worked
No WiFi calling
- Called Boost's "Advanced Technical Support" who were unable to help me
troubleshoot while at home as I had signal strength of 0 to 2 bars.
- 08/09/2023
Called "Advanced Technical Support" while at work with 3 bars.
2 hours on phone trying settings, rebooting phone, removing/reinserting SIM,
resetting network, adding custom APN.
Tech worked with "Network Support" and opened a trouble ticket with Tmobile.
I was to call back in 72 hours.
- Purchased a new unlocked phone
- 08/16
Called "Advanced Technical Support".
50 mins on phone.
No status on first Tmobile ticket from "Network Support".
"Network Support" wanted to open a new ticket.
I said I needed my number to work and preferred to swap phones rather than wait
again.
They didn't recommend this.
- 08/16
New call to Support.
Swapped number to eSIM on new phone.
Number works now. Tested so far.
Inbound and outbound calls
Voicemail on phone
Inbound and outbound SMS and MMS messages
Wifi calling (Settings, Cellular, Network Selection shows "Boost Wi-Fi")
Pending:
Email to phone number SMS/MMS not working.
No issues with call quality so far.
08/22 final update
Overall the phone support is very good. The hold times are under 3 mins to get a
live person. The staff are friendly and try to help but I don't think they can
fix what's broken. Not their fault.
I tried the Chat feature on the mobile app. Someone responded within a minute
but the text input field for the app was no longer present. I couldn't
communicate with them.
Please add a website for account access.
On that site show the email to SMS number for the account.
So the last straw.
My credit card web site showed my previously acceptable number from T-Mobile now
as an "Invalid Number". I need this for authentication.
I had to use the security questions/answers to authenticate.
I tried to re-enter the mobile number, but same response.
I finally ported my number out. No issues. A call to Support and transfer to the
Rentention Dept. 5 mins later I had a transfer PIN.
The account number shown by the mobile app was also confirmed as correct.
30 mins later I was with a new carrier.
To be fair, the reason this porting process was so fast was because I had
already upgraded to a phone with eSIM support.
So if you have a 5 yeaar old phone that works with your current carrier, think
twice before trying this service.

I purchased this to switch my phone service over from Mint Mobile. For the same
$25/month I’m currently paying Mint Mobile for 15gb/data. I will be getting
unlimited data, with Boost Infinite. Plus the price is locked at $25/month for
as long as I have the service. So it was really a no brainer to switch. The only
thing that I no longer have is using my phone as a mobile hotspot which Mint did
have. I’m very seldom anywhere that Wifi isn’t available. So this isn’t a real
concern for me.
Now about the excellent customer service. I tried to use the app to activate my
phone and new Boost sim card. I was unable to activate it using the app, so I
called the customer service # that was on the sim card kit.
I was connected with, Activation Specialist, Noemi. She explained that there
were some additional steps that needed to be done since I was porting over my
old phone #.
Noemi was excellent at her job and very patient with me working through the
process and I let her know that and also told her I would be posting this
review. Thanks again Noemi. 🙂
