An essential asset for your team

For me, personally it's the best app to connect remotely available in the
market. Anydesk is a good second.

Pros

You'll be able to utilize this software to remotely connect to either assist
your clients, manage your sytstems remotely, connect to a server, transfer files
or execute commands from anywhere in the world. You can bookmark all your
connections and manage them in groups and view the status of the machines from a
simple side window.

Cons

The license can be a little expensive and sometimes the software may lag if the
client you're connecting too is outdated. You need to look up the licenses
because even the cheapest one, unless you buy a volume license, you need to be
specific on how many people will be using the license and only one can use it at
the time.

Knew a lot more about Teamviewer previously from usage and recommended by others
in the same field as me.



Reasons for Switching to TeamViewer

Better connection Performance and reliability. Also less CPU intensive.

TeamViewer is the best but pricing make many users sign away

For me it’s the perfect and in top but still pricing is the important issue

Pros

Team Viewer provides full control accessing computer to computer remotely. I can
transfer program files between my side and remote side easily. Access any pc
from phone application, it has made easier for me to assist my branches in
transport. I make it start with windows and add static password so you don’t
need the other side any way as long as pc has internet connection. Switching
between OS users by logging off or switching user is very simple. It access pc
as admin and it doesn’t ask every task admin rights. Support session record
,Instant message and audio calls which is very useful to contact other side.
could show black screen to remote side to get ride of voyeurs.

Cons

Problem with different version, if you connect with lower virsion it asks to
upgrade lower side. Support stopped for old OS. Commercial user license is not
competitive.

Team Viewer works as a screen sharing program for institutions but is tricky to
navigate for users.

For within an organization, the product is great for screen sharing, but outside
it is just clunky.

Pros

I like that Team Viewer has free and paid options for users versus enterprise,
it ensures that you have a quality product, but does not then price-gouge the
occasional user. Team Viewer is a great alternative for screen sharing when you
are able to have the time to figure out the tools, or have an IT Staff who are
able to set it up for you and then train you for a simple navigation. I have had
good success with companies contacting me through Team Viewer, but never in the
other direction.

Cons

There are several things I did not like about Team Viewer. First, Team Viewer is
very clunky to use. In terms of just setting up an account, there were steps
that we (me and IT) did online and on the application, which also duplicated
themselves. There were authorizations that seemed unnecessary. After
downloading, the launched application still had to "okay" the computer, with
further steps authorizing the machine through email, which were already done as
part of setup. We acquired Team Viewer to share a work machine and a personal
machine, with the personal account being the initiating account on the work
machine, and the work account being the recipient. Due to, as Support said, too
many similar characters in the two emails, they were flagged as being from the
same organization even though the domains were completely different. Even with
support, the issue was not resolvable. The screen sharing is extremely slow on a
fairly open (no one was working) 300 mg pipe, which flies for everything else.
In the end, we decided it was easier to work with two work machines for what we
were trying to do, acquired a few external HDs and just used Remote Desktop. I
have had success with other companies contacting me through Team Viewer, but
have never been able to initiate back to them. Again, despite supports help, it
is like my account is "flagged" to always be from organization to organization
with little hope of resolution.

Team Viewer Best Remote support During Covid pendamic

we are working cross country in the world, there have the challenge of remote
support, even we have site to site vpn to each other, but i find out team viewer
is the best one as i have test many software already, and during the last 2
years of covid pendamic we can not work from office we work from home, there
have alot of task need to support users such as install software, only team
viewer that can let us remote effectively. other software not allow to touch
administrator by remotely, but teamviewer can, i love that function so much as
IT support team.

Pros

- team viewer is very stable compare to another product that I have been used,
using less internet bandwidth even slow internet i can still remote as well. -
team viewer support the administrator functionality, but other remote software
is very difficult to use if we need to login to administrator to install or
modify something on users computer.

Cons

its good already i have no comment about this.



Reasons for Switching to TeamViewer

Anydesk difficult to remote support users, its require more input from the
users, and as we know already, if users are experience or have good skill in IT
they will not ask IT for help, and finally I find out that TeamViewer can solve
this problem for usrelated to permission remote.

Easiest and most user-friendly remote desktop software

I would still recommend TeamViewer as it is still the most user-friendly remote
desktop software to use. During the pandemic, it has aided our tech support
requirements for its real-time chat and audio connectivity. Multiple or
simultaneous sessions are also allowed which can be used by remote users with a
number of clients on the line.

Pros

TeamViewer is one of the most user-friendly remote desktop softwares in the
market as it provides a real-time access between the local and remote users.
I've been using this for 3 years now and the connectivity is much stable -
particularly the latest versions. File sharing is another highlight, as it has a
drag and drop function which makes the transferring of files easier. The
software itself only needs very minimal memory as well and easy to download and
install

Cons

In the next updates of TeamViewer, it would be good to see mobile to pc access
as a lot of users are on mobile now. Large file sharing is another feature that
can be enhanced as as of this writing, only small-sized files are allowed. It
also has the tendency to disconnect if there's low internet connection.



Reasons for Choosing TeamViewer

TeamViewer is widely used here, thus it's easier to get feedback from fellow
users. AnyDesk and RemotePC may give what you need in a remote desktop software,
but the features and layout is more user friendly specially if you have clients
who are not tech savvy.
