HOW SHOULD TMT BARS BE STORED ON-SITE TO PREVENT DAMAGE AND ENSURE THEIR
QUALITY?

TMT bars should be stored on-site in a dry, well-ventilated area, preferably on
a raised platform or racks to prevent contact with moisture and ground
contamination. They should be stacked horizontally with adequate spacing between
layers to allow air circulation and prevent deformation.

Additionally, TMT bars should be covered with waterproof materials to shield
them from rain or humidity. Care should be taken to avoid stacking heavy
materials on top of the bars, which could cause bending or damage. Regular
inspections should be conducted to ensure that the bars remain free from
corrosion, bends, or other defects, maintaining their quality until they are
ready for use in construction.
