CREATING A BUSINESS PROFILE LINKED TO YOUR ORGANIZATION

June 24, 2018 06:41

Learn how to create a business profile linked to your organization. If you need
to create a self-managed business profile, you can click here.

In this article, we'll cover:

 * What is a business profile?
 * How to set up a business profile?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WHAT IS A BUSINESS PROFILE?

Business profiles live within your personal Lyft account and do the work for you
by automatically forwarding ride receipts to your expense management system.
Business profiles are an easy way for you to separate personal rides from
work-related rides and earn rewards.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HOW TO SET UP A BUSINESS PROFILE

In business profiles, you’ll be able to set up auto-expensing to automatically
forward all ride receipts for your business rides. Follow these simple steps to
successfully set up your business profile:

 1. Navigate to your profile in the Lyft app and select ‘Business profiles’
under ‘Account settings.’ Enter your work email address

    Don’t receive your invitation?
If you didn’t receive an invite but you expected one, please try another
work email or contact your Lyft Business administrator for help.

 2. Verify your account by entering the code sent to your work email
Enter the code sent to your work email to verify your account.

If you don’t already have a Lyft account, you’ll be asked to sign up during
this step. Use your personal email address to create your Lyft account —
this will be used as a way to send ride receipts and other communications
    for your personal rides.

 3. Select the invitation related to your business organization to get started

 4. Select the payment method you’d like to assign as the default and your
    expense provider for business rides
If you don’t already have direct billing setup, you can add your personal
credit or debit card and set it as the default card here. If you have a
corporate card, you are welcome to add it and set it as the default card
here, as well. Every time you ride under your business profile, the ride
will automatically be charged to the default card you've set. You also will
have the option to select your expense provider.

 5. You are now ready to take your first business ride!

Before you take a ride, make sure to toggle to your business profile by
tapping the briefcase under the fare estimate.
