Hey there, valentine!

Whether you’ve been here with us for years or you’re new, thanks for being
YOU! At our heart, we want to work side by side with communities to build an
equitable future where everyone has access to resources, a quality education,
enough to eat, and a safe place to call home.

Whether you give critical dollars to support our neighbors or donate your time
to help our community, it’s all your love, and it leads the way.

Watch below:

📢 ADVOCACY IN ACTION

This year, we have a short, 60-day legislative session where our legislators
will create new laws, change existing ones, and enact budgets for a variety of
issues concerning all of us.

United Way of King County, our community partners, and friends were back in
action at the State Capital:

✊Advocating for Postsecondary Basic Needs funding on Feb. 1 aka our Lobby Day.
✊Co-organizing annual statewide efforts for Hunger Action Day at Olympia to
advocate for everything from expanding access to free school meals to ensuring
food banks have the resources they need to meet record demand.

Couldn’t be there? You can still get involved! You can learn about all the bills
we’re advocating for, join your voice with ours and ask your legislators to
help, or sign up to get alerts to speak up for things that matter!
