MANAGED FILE TRANSFER SERVICE ARCHITECTURE
Thru’s managed file transfer as a service (MFTaaS) provides automated file
sharing and distribution capabilities leveraging both cloud and on-premises
resources. The core control plane services for transfer orchestration, user
administration and security insights remain hosted on Thru’s multi-region public
cloud infrastructure. This streamlines updates and transparency for customers.
The Thru Node (an MFT agent) integrates seamlessly with internal networks for
local file system integration between on-site storage and cloud services. This
hybrid architecture extends MFTaaS value to legacy data repositories without
migration needs, while gaining cloud scalability.
