SEND A QUICK TEXT FROM ANY OF YOUR FOLLOW UP BOSS NUMBERS

From every screen inside the Follow Up Boss web app, you’ll see a “quick text”
icon at the top-right. This lets you send a text to any phone number or contact
on the fly, without needing to first add the number to a contact or load the
contact’s profile.

With this release, the quick text option now lets you choose your outbound
"from" number, so you can quickly send texts from any of your Follow Up Boss
phone numbers, including your dialer number, company number and any of your
assigned Team Inbox numbers.



If needed, you can change your default outbound phone number on your Settings
page. To learn more about texting through Follow Up Boss, check out the help
article.

FASTER LOADING TIMELINE GETS YOU UP TO SPEED QUICKER

Scanning a contact’s timeline is the fastest way to catch up on a detailed
history of a contact’s activity and communication. Nobody likes getting their
workflow interrupted by a slow-loading or cluttered timeline, which in the past,
could happen with contacts who had long, detailed timeline histories.

With this release, contacts with large timelines now load at the same speed as
regular contacts, so timeline lag is a thing of the past. Now you can review
every contact’s timeline details without the wait, no matter how long or short
their history.



We also moved “property search” and “saved property search” event logs to the
activity section of the contact’s profile – specifically, to both the “recent
activity” and “all activity” sections. Previously, these event logs displayed in
the timeline, which could cause the timeline to load slower and prevent more
important events like property inquiries from displaying clearly.

SHARE YOUR SENDGRID EMAILS WITHOUT HAVING AN EMAIL CONNECTED

This update lets you enable email sharing on the Settings page without having an
email account connected to Follow Up Boss. Previously, the "share your emails"
option would not display without an email connected, which prevented you from
giving your team access to emails if they were sent via an integrated SendGrid
account.

CATCH UP ON IMPORTANT CONVERSATIONS QUICKER

We released an improvement to help clean up and organize email logs on the lead
profile’s timeline by moving all batch email logs to the “Marketing Emails” tab.



Now it’s easier to view individual email conversations from the timeline’s
“Emails” tab, while keeping your marketing emails separate on the “Marketing
Emails” tab. Marketing emails include batch emails, Action Plan emails and other
marketing emails, such as those sent through MailChimp.

In addition to moving batch email logs to the “Marketing Emails” tab, we made
several other design improvements:

 * We changed the design of the batch email icon on the timeline to
   differentiate batch emails from individual emails. Specifically, the batch
   email icon is now a darker blue color, smaller in size and it displays two
   envelopes.
 * We changed the design of the Action Plan email icon and the marketing email
   icon on the timeline. Specifically, the icons are now both the same darker
   blue color, making all email icons on the marketing tab the same color.
 * We added a "via batch email" link next to batch email logs on the timeline,
   which opens the batch email report.
 * We updated the color of the filtering options on the timeline, from gray to
   the new blue.

AUTOMATICALLY IMPORT YOUR SIGNATURE FROM YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT

If you have a Google or Office 365 email connected, now you have an easy way to
import your existing signature from your email account into Follow Up Boss.

When editing your email signature on the Settings page, you’ll see a new option
for “Import signature.” Clicking that will automatically pull-in your signature
from your email account. This will happen automatically the first time you
connect your email to Follow Up Boss.



How does it work?

The signature import tool searches your email account's recently sent emails and
detects a common signature you’ve used in the past, and then recreates that
email signature for you in Follow Up Boss. If you have a default signature
already set in Google email, Follow Up Boss will pull-in your default signature
automatically.

This feature is currently only supported with Google or Office 365 emails, but
we’re looking to expand it to other email providers in the future.
