This astonishing cyber-horror-meltdown from the minds of Stephen King and Brett
Leonard (VIRTUOSITY) is back in theaters and ready to tear the heads off of your
audience. Dr. Lawrence Angelo (Pierce Brosnan) is a brilliant scientist obsessed
with perfecting virtual reality software. When his experiments on animals fail,
he finds the ideal substitute: Jobe Smith (Jeff Fahey), a slow-witted gardener.
Dr. Angelo’s goal is to benefit his human guinea pig and ultimately mankind
itself, but evil lurks within the guise of “The Shop,” a shadowy group that
seeks to use the technology to create an invincible war machine.

BORROMINI & BERNINI

 * NR
 * Art
 * 3h 26m
 * Closed Captions
 * Accessibile
 * Watch Trailer

A journey into the great beauty of Baroque Rome, when the city was the centre of
western art and where every ambitious painter, sculptor and architect had to be.

This is the story of the most famous artistic rivalry of all time, the one
between Borromini and Bernini, but also the story of Borromini’s rivalry with
himself: a genius so absorbed by his art that he turns it into a demon that
devours him from the inside forcing him to choose death to reach eternity.
Borromini deprived himself of everything to pursue a dream: to conquer Rome. It
is the story of the architectural revolution of a solitary maestro who changed
the appearance of Rome forever, by pushing himself to his limit, but also by
battling conventions and prejudices, with the humility to learn from the past to
invent the future, with the courage to pursue an idea despite knowing he would
pay the price in the end.

ABOUT US

CAPE CINEMA

Cape Cinema has been one of the premier destinations for entertainment on Cape
Cod since 1930 and continues to be committed remaining such. While most of the
website features upcoming events ranging from movies and theatrical performances
to concerts and the ballet, this page can fill you in on some of the building
history.

Cape Cinema has been entertaining locals of Dennis and the rest of Cape Cod,
Massachusetts for nearly one hundred years. The building was constructed in 1930
and founded by Edna Tweeny and Raymond Moore just a couple years after the Cape
Playhouse. The exterior of the cinema often confuses new guests who ask us how
long the building has been a theater and when it stopped being a church. To the
surprise of many, the building has always been a cinema.
