WE BELIEVE EVERYBODY DESERVES HOPE AND ABUNDANT LIFE. DO YOU?

We love and minister to these people in the Philippines and we do it in the
middle of muddy streets. With your help, we could do it in a place that brings
hope with this new family retreat center. We own the land, and with your help we
could all own the vision.

WHO WE ARE:


We are men and women from all walks of life who have discovered HOPE AND
ABUNDANT LIFE in Jesus Christ.  Hopeandabundantlife.org   We have caught the
vision of Dr. Ayo Adewuya and his wife Grace and their life’s work in one of the
poorest countries in the world: The Philippines. We believe that very few
opportunities in life arise for the perfect place for our donated dollars. 100%
of any donation we give goes to 100% of what we want it to do.  No overhead, no
expenses for support, not a penny strays from the work it was donated to do! 
And we are excited to donate and ask you to donate to the biggest vision yet:  A
retreat center for the poor and hopeless designed to give them hope, a vision,
relief and a chance for something we have experienced but they never have or
ever could.  



WHO YOU ARE:


You are the only hope of completing this restoration center in a timely manner
and you care about people you never met.  You care about people who were born in
the wrong place at the wrong time to horrific circumstances and who will never
ever be able to thank you personally for giving anything you can spare.  You
want people fed, you want people who need medical help to be healed and you want
your dollar to go as far as possible toward the relief of human misery. Finally,
you understand what clean facilities, healthy food, a restful setting and
quality recreation can do for the human spirit.



WHY THIS FACILITY?


The Adewuyas’ have been in a self-funded Christian ministry in the Philippines
for decades, working through several local home churches that they founded over
the years. They travel from town to town bringing the good news that there is
hope and that some people do care of the suffering of the disenfranchised.
Hundreds of lives have been touched and changed for the better, yet serving a
dinner for 60 to 80 hungry children and adults in the middle of a muddy or dusty
street is a small victory.  Handing out medical supplies or other personal needs
to people who will return home to dirt floor huts and no running water is not a
satisfying victory for those of us who have so much. We can do better, we must.



WHAT THIS FACILITY WILL ACCOMPLISH?


This facility will out-live the abilities of the Adewuyas to minister and fund
an ongoing beacon of hope to the remote towns they can reach.  This retreat
center will be relief, rest, joy, peace and a place of serving those who need so
much.  The abundant life is very much a state of mental well-being. Therefore,
being treated well, taught hope, rested finally and given an accessible haven,
if even for short periods of time each year touches people differently than a
visit to their mud hut.  

This is not a church camp, but training ministers of the Gospel will happen
sometimes.  This is not a school, but children will occasionally be taught basic
educational necessities. This is not a business retreat but, if possible, will
be rented to select public or private groups as an income source.  This facility
will be a self-supporting tool for the on-going work of Abundant life
Ministries.  It will be built debt free so any week-end rental to private or
public groups will help fund the ongoing vision of Abundant Life Ministries.
Finally, for the first time ever, Abundant Life Ministries will have a home,
moving beyond the cost of hotels, borrowing church offices for administration,
meeting in homes for teaching, and standing in streets to serve. This facility
allows the ministry to live well beyond the life of Dr. Ayo and his wife as
supported by themselves, friends and family.



WHAT WE NEED?


We need $3.5 million to build this facility for the poorest of the Filipinos.
The property has been purchased and is free and clear.  We need the facility
constructed free and clear so we can end any requests for future donations that
might tax your funds for various charities you may be currently supporting. ANY
donation buys us closer to the ownership of a big vision for poor people.  God
