POKA-YOKE ASSEMBLY CELLS


ICSi has solid experience as a custom machine builder utilizing cutting edge
sensing technology in the design and fabrication of assembly and test cells,
assuring manufacturing accuracy. These technologies include precise
torque-controlled screw drivers, machine vision inspection systems, barcode
scanners, marking systems, robotic systems, and photo-electric object sensors.
ICSi provides the full turn-key design of these cells, including the mechanical
design & fabrication. These systems are commonly referred to as Poka-yoke
stations or fixtures.

AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLES


ICSi has worked extensively developing and refining Automated Guided Vehicles
(AGV’s) to enhance productivity & reliability for our customers. This work has
included upgrading and improving existing AGV controls, installing in-line
battery chargers, designing integral rotating trunnion extensions, developing
electronic lane switches, and optical duplex communications between the AGV &
stationery receivers.

SCADA – AUTOMATED QUALITY CONTROL


ICSi is a certified Ignition integrator / Inductive Automation software
supplier. ICSi has substantial experience integrating computer software and
networks with industrial control systems to track specific assembly across a
manufacturing line, to ensure correct fabrication and verification of each
product detail. This is especially valuable in custom manufacturing applications
where advanced technologies including vision inspection and bar-code scanners
are integrated utilizing Ignition software. Process and quality records are
created and archived by capturing all available information on that production
unit. In many industries, these systems are referred to as Parts Determining
Systems (PDS).
