Riders ready, watch the gate...  

Its all about the racing at BMX, yet the fun is all about what you bring to it.
With racing from four and five year olds right through to riders in their 70s,
there something for you. From strider races through to Olympic deams, there is a
level and a class that will challange you and your skills. 

BMX is a community driven sport with entire families racing and having fun
togther. There are many events during the season, check them out here...

GETTING STARTED



BMX is a fun, fast, family-oriented cycling sport and no matter what your age if
you are keen to try BMX racing, you can find your nearest club and head along to
a training session.  

There are 32 clubs around New Zealand that are open to new membership. Anyone
keen to give BMX racing a go should visit a club, ask if they have rental bikes
or bring your own. As a beginner, any bike will do, and you can update your bike
as you get more serious about the sport later.
