WHO WE ARE

Northeast Addictions Treatment Center (NEATC) is located in the historic Quincy
neighborhood of Boston. With a focus on family and individual needs, we value
every interaction and equip loved ones and patients with recovery skills and
local resources to manage addiction.

Our patient-centered model of care is rooted in solution-focused and
strength-based services, including structured groups and meetings,
evidence-based practices, community engagement, and ongoing aftercare support.

About Us



WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a full continuum of outpatient care conducted on a flexible yet
structured schedule. A strong network of support is built into each level of
care, which includes day treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and a
step-down outpatient program.

DAY TREATMENT PROGRAM (PHP)

Full-day group therapy, weekly individual sessions, and medical oversight in
strict and structured six-hour treatment days, six days a week.

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP)

Our two IOP phases (IOP3 and IOP5) offer services three or five days per week,
including group and individual therapy.

OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (OP)

Ideal as a step-down from our PHP/IOP, our OP supports the transition back to
the patient’s local community.

MEDICATION-ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT)

We provide a coordinated approach to MAT and can prescribe naltrexone, Suboxone,
and disulfiram when requested.

AFTERCARE PLANNING

We coordinate local aftercare resources based on individual needs and
preferences, which is anchored by our alumni program.

Our urban location allows you to apply learned skills to daily life in
metropolitan Boston. You can walk to public transit and explore the city,
participate in community-based activities, and put your recovery skills to the
test in real-world scenarios.

WHY CHOOSE NORTHEAST ADDICTIONS TREATMENT CENTER?

Although our program is fast-paced and highly structured, we encourage each
patient to keep it simple and stay present in the moment. Our strict protocol
combines skill-building resources with clinical expertise, fellowship, and a
lasting community of support.


FULL-DAY GROUP THERAPY

Four clinical group sessions are offered in a six-hour treatment day, including
topics like relationships, communication, and relapse prevention.


MONTHLY ACTIVITIES

Onsite monthly activities are planned each month, including self care fairs,
movie nights, gardening, and outdoor competitions.


FAMILY NIGHT

To promote long-term recovery, our weekly family night offers psychoeducation
and support to loved ones and family members.


COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Patients are encouraged to volunteer at local businesses and nonprofits to
connect with and support the community at large.


EVIDENCE-BASED THERAPIES

Our process groups and individual sessions are structured around evidence-based
practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing
(MI).

be judged, I highly recommend you to pick up the phone and call these wonderful
loving caring people, please. I came here was mentally depressed,on drugs, had a

I have NEAT to thank for saving my best friend's life. Northeast provided a safe

My experience at this treatment center saved my life. The facility is beyond
words beautiful and they go beyond measures to be this amazing. I had a hard
time transitioning and becoming sober and this treatment center acted like I was
finally enough for a sober life. Sobriety saved me and so do these staff members
as well as my peers. We work together and we succeed. They make you feel like
home and give you a whole new meaning to self worth and love for yourself. I am
going to tell you before I came here thinking, I was not ever going to live a
sober life and I was fine dying an addict. I finally came here and for the first
time did I get hope since being an active addict, I have hope and so much
happiness. I am so thankful for the staff in this treatment center they give
"keep coming" a whole new meaning and it doesn't make you just come, but these
wonderful people make you WANT to come because they personally make sure they
get too know you and personally and sincerely care for all of us. My sobriety is
so beautiful and had made my life a happier place to life all because they saved
my life and they loved me when I lost love for myself and when I didn't have any
hope I would recover. If you have an addiction please consider this beautiful
place. You will succeed as long as you are here and you accept the road to a
better life. I believe this treatment deserves a 10 out of 5 that's how
absolutely beautiful and unreal the turn around for my life in sobriety has
been. If you are lost and need hope and a place you can re identify yourself,
this is the place you need to be in! You won't regret it!
