READING PRIDE WITH THE MIT PRESS

As a book publisher, we believe it is imperative that we support and amplify
LGBTQIA+ voices. In the face of rising anti-LGBTQ legislation—the ACLU counts at
least 515 anti-LGBTQ bills on the table in the U.S.—and continued bans targeting
books featuring queer characters and content, this responsibility is all the
more crucial in 2024. In celebration of Pride Month, we will be Reading Pride.
Join us as we highlight some of our books that provide perspectives on the
experience of LGBTQIA+ folks around the world and throughout history.

We’re especially excited to share works from our distributed press partner,
Semiotext(e)—a publisher of highly-curated titles in areas of theory, fiction,
madness, economics, satire, sexuality, science fiction, activism, and
confession.
