I would like any experiences please of inattentive adhd and reduced symptoms as the child gets old. My dd was diagnosed at 8 and on Ritalin. Now 14 and we have reduced dose by 5mg a day. She seems to be getting ocd type symptoms whilst on the meds. I have noticed i felt really positive about the day and my tasks, and i din't really over think what i was doing or take 500 thousand years. Ok tried Guanfacine medication for 4 nights but continued to feel it for two more days after stopping because of awful side effects.
