The Purdue Alumni Club of New York City raises funds for a $1,500, merit-based scholarship for incoming freshmen entering Purdue University. The scholarship is provided by Purdue alumni and friends who have generously donated to support the next generation of Boilermakers living in the Metro New York City Area (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Bronx, Long Island, or Westchester). To earmark any donations that you make to Purdue so that they help to benefit students who hail from NYC, on the Purdue for Life Foundation website you can make a Gift Selection that directs some or all of your donation to the Purdue NYC Alumni Club Scholarship Fund by choosing Select Your Fund(s), followed by Purdue Alumni Club Scholarships, and then select Purdue Club of New York City Scholarship. PRE-GAME TAILGATE AND GAME DETAILS New York Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge, 333 Adams Street, Brooklyn • Sunday, December 12th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM On Sunday, December 12th, the top-ranked Purdue Men's Basketball team heads to NYC and takes on North Carolina State in the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational. Go Purdue! Before the game, join the Purdue NYC Alumni Club and the Purdue for Life Foundation for a Pre-Game Tailgate at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge Hotel. Registration in advance for the Pre-Game Tailgate is required. Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required to attend this event.
