Get that feeling for yourself. When you play ball with us, you’ll get back more than you give and they’ll have a great new memory. Our mission is to facilitate a baseball experience for qualified veterans. We arrange transportation, tickets, a ballpark meal, snacks, and recognition from the team and fellow fans. With your help, we look forward to getting more and more veterans out to more and more games all across the USA. Mr. Andrew Marshall – Past National Commander of the DAV Vetbaseball arranged for Andy to throw the ceremonial first pitch. NURSING HOME, PEMBROKE PINES, FL February 24th, 2023 Try as we do to get every veteran to a baseball game, some are unable to make the trip. In 2019 we decided to bring the joy of a game to them. We initiated a “Spring into baseball season” party, which was a huge success. COVID had an untold impact on the one term care community, and the VA Facilities were hit hard. We had to cancel the parties in both 2021 and 2022, but we resumed this year, and it was once again an afternoon of great joy.
