* Pilot Artemis 3D - blender This was a really fun project I recently finished
where I went through all of the concept and design stages/ decisions in one
character. My Idea was to make a character that could fit into the Star Wars
universe, so I had to base parts of her in reality like her shoes and head
gear, and of course give her a flight and exploration companion as well.
Working around the head anatomy to fit this real life referenced pilot cap +
eye gear was a fun challenge, that ultimately lead to an interesting design.

* Hi, just reviving this blog (again) with some drawings I did recently. I will
try to post more frequently in the future. Currently doing some style
experiments. Feel free to let me know what you think! Also created myself
those sheets that I come back to when not sure about anatomy. I'm sure there
are still some errors, but that's what I summarized from different resources.
For the head I found some different methods, especially for the side view
with some egg shape that confused me.. Here I sketched the pose and anatomy
first from imagination and then looked up some references to see how accurate
it got. Obviously its stylized tho..

Topic "Mage" This week will be focused on designing a mage character that can
use elemental magic. Get creative and play with shapes. Mages can come in all
shapes and sizes. Bonus 1. Create a turn-around sheet for your character.
Front, back and side or 3/4 front and 3/4 back is all that is required. Look
at anime character sheets for reference. Post finished pieces here by the

* Finally finished; this was a lot of work but also very fun. There's a couple
things I'm still not satisfied with (the hilt of his sword has an odd shape
that I could never quite get to look right in perspective; his boots should
really have laces but I cut them to save time, etc.), but overall I think it
turned out well. The character has psychic powers, which explains the flying
