OUR ORIGIN STORY

Our origin story is a tale about the simple, sustainable idea, the ability to
constantly evolve, about hard, hard work and about rebirth and dedication. And
it says a lot about how we still think and work today. Today, scalable platforms
are a big part of what we do in ONLINECITY.IO but it hasn’t always been so.
Since the company was founded in 1999, we have gradually evolved and changed
when new exciting opportunities emerged. However, a certain service - the sms -
has been a dear technology from the start and has proven its worth over and over
again across solutions.

WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

At ONLINECITY.IO, we have based our business on the mindset that we need to be
as light on our feet as possible, so we are ready to pursue great ideas and
visions quickly. This mindset also permeates all parts of our platforms, which
are designed to make everyday tasks as easy as possible as well as to allow a
high degree of adaptation to the individual customer and situation.

HOW WE WORK

The working culture at ONLINECITY.IO is based on a flat structure and an agile
workflow, where the good argument and the good idea wins. We think and work
globally with employees spread out over most of Denmark and abroad. Our
customers and partners are also found across the globe, so our workdays are
often filled with video conferencing and online communication. At the same time
we do what we can to ensure tight social relations through joint events and an
overall informal culture - at times very informal!

BIROL ALTINOK


CO-OWNER & CEO AT MYBASE

Birol has since 2001 been co-owner of ONLINECITY.IO. Birol contributes with a
flair for business development, strategy and customer care which he today uses
on developing the subsidiary company, MyBase, which is a property rental
business. The goal is to expand with a large number of rental properties in
Odense, Denmark in the coming years.

MARTIN PLØGER


CO-OWNER & CEO AT NEXCON.IO

Martin is co-owner of ONLINECITY.IO, and CEO of the newly started IoT-platform,
NexCon.io, which is currently under construction. Martin is a great team player
and has a natural talent for sales where he enjoys getting familiar with every
aspect of the customers’ business.

THOMAS HOFMANN


FOUNDER & CEO FOR RELATIONCITY

In 1999 Thomas founded ONLINECITY.IO. Today he is co-owner of the company as
well as CEO for the CPaaS platform RelationCity, which is currently under
construction. Thomas values high quality and is 100% the biggest fan of our
customers.

STEFFEN RUDOLPH KRÆMMER

CEO

Steffen has several years of management and strategic experience from Mærsk,
Deloitte and Ørsted, which he draws on to ensure the continued growth of
GatewayAPI and ONLINECITY.IO. In his spare time, Steffen greatly appreciates
food, wine, and sports.

KENNET DARELL LARSEN

CTO & PRODUCT OWNER

As CTO and Product Owner, it is Kennet’s finest task to set the strategic
direction for the company’s technology and platforms, as well as optimizing
procedures and motivating the employees. In his spare time, Kennet loves to be
physically active, be it skiing, mountain biking or paddleboarding. He has also
attended more than 100 concerts for a Danish festival as he was a volunteer for
over 10 years.

MADS BROGAARD

FINANCE MANAGER

Mads is passionate about optimization and together with Steffen Rudolph Kræmmer
he is in charge of securing the continous growth of GatewayAPI and
ONLINECITY.IO. Mads always strive to make a positive impact on both customers
and colleagueas, which earned him an award at his prior workplace for being
exceptionally positive and helpful.

NADIA PANZIO

HR PARTNER

As our HR Partner, Nadia confidently juggles multiple tasks that help improve
our organization from the inside and out (fun fact: she also knows how to
actually juggle!). She thrives in the diversity of the role and loves being the
go-to person for her colleagues. As passionate as she is about employee
wellbeing, nothing comes close to her love for her dog Jeppe who also has his
own spot in the office.

JULIUS K. GRETZINGER-OTTO

CUSTOMER SUCCESS SPECIALIST

As one of our Customer Success Specialists, Julius is ready to help our
customers in any way he can - he loves interacting with people and providing
exceptional service. Julius’ hobbies cover everything from nerdy games to niche
sports, and he continues to add new projects to the list. As he is also an avid
traveler, Julius can advise you on anything from the best food to places to stay
in many locations around the world!

KASPER HERMANSEN

TECHNICAL SUPPORTER

As a Technical Supporter, Kasper is ready to help new customers with their setup
on our platforms. He enjoys the balance between the technical aspect and the
customer contact as he is an expert at understanding and solving issues. In his
spare time, Kasper loves nerdy stuff such as bouldering and playing board games.
Furthermore, he is always ready to share travel tips as he has lived in the
Czech Republic for several years.

CASPER BROBERG OVESEN

COMPLIANCE & GDPR SPECIALIST

Casper helps control all things compliance in the company. He likes the range of
tasks and actually enjoys reading legal texts. In his spare time, he leaves the
papers behind as he is an active family dad who loves everything from running
and golf to alpine skiing. Casper has also admitted that he has reached an age
where he actually enjoys garden work, too.

KENN LETH HANSEN

HEAD OF DEVOPS & SOLUTION ARCHITECT

Kenn has always been interested in communication technology, and one of his key
skills is keeping a broad overview while diving into the details of day-to-day
tasks. When he is not in front of the computer, Kenn spends time with his family
or doing DIY projects around the house. Kenn is also an excellent drummer, which
is an interest his daughter is picking up from him.

MORTEN AGERBÆK RIBER

ONLINE MARKETING MANAGER

Morten is an old man in a young man's body. Morten combines a penchant for
copywriting with a great deal of technical knowledge about a number of tools and
systems, including Google Ads and Analytics, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, whereby
he helps to ensure a steady customer influx to ONLINECITY.IO's platforms.
Leisure activities include do-it-yourself projects, book-reading, tennis and
cultural experiences.

MATHIAS BORK KNUDSEN

HEAD OF COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS

Mathias is always smiling and is a favorite among our customers. Like Ray
Donovan, he is constantly ready to fix our customers' problems and needs.
Mathias is also a hardcore crossfitter who can do push-ups upside down and carry
all of us out of the building should a fire occur!

Martin is co-owner and CCO of the company ONLINECITY.IO, which operates
GatewayAPI. Furthermore, Martin is CEO of the IoT-platform NexCon.io. Martin is
a great team player and has a natural talent for sales where he enjoys getting
familiar with every aspect of the customers' business

Thomas has many years of experience in developing, especially focusing on
operation and processes. He has a special interest in improving infrastructures
and in tools that automate processes to make it easier for developers to work
and to secure stability. In his spare time, Thomas can often be found either in
front of the computer or out in nature with his camera.

JEPPE LARSEN

LEAD DEVELOPER

Building on years of experience from successful software startups, Jeppe tackles
the hard software engineering challenges head on. Jeppe has a "lets get things
done" attitude, and a proactive mind. He has a strong passion for science
fiction and red wine.

MARK HALKJÆR CHRISTENSEN

UX EXPERT & MARKETING COORDINATOR

Mark's goal in ONLINECITY.IO is to give you the best experience possible on
GatewayAPI.com via intuitive and smooth UX. In addition, he provides ongoing
coordination on the marketing team.

MORTEN SKYT

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER

Morten is a seasoned coder and an old hand at front end development. Morten
takes pride in creating great usability that upholds the most recent web
development standards. Morten is an important resource to the company and is
always ready to help when we need him.

NICOLAJ CHRISTIANSEN

FRONTEND DEVELOPER

As Frontend Developer, Nicolaj helps develop our platforms, including
RelationCity, where his focus is on accessibility and UX. Over the years,
Nicolaj has gained considerable experience with a wide range of code languages
and systems, which he can use to help in different parts of GatewayAPI.com. His
leisure time is spent coding side projects, gaming and cycling.

JEPPE PETERSEN

SENIOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT

At ONLINECITY.IO, our goal is to have the world's best support department, and
Jeppe is the man who every day helps out to make sure we reach that goal. You

LASSE WORK BØG

SENIOR INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST

Lasse has a background as a computer scientist, and has afterwards specialized
in IT & information security. At GatewayAPI.com, Lasse manages a number of IT
security-related tasks, including penetration testing and data security. Lasse
also helps with the annual GDPR ISAE3000 audit and other certifications.

METTE FJELDHOFF

COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST

Mette is our in-house rhetorician and language nerd, and she ensures that
ONLINECITY.IO's communication is spot-on. When she's not immersing herself in
grammatical details and linguistic phrasing, she spends her spare time playing
card games, going to coffee shops and enjoying cultural experiences.

OLIVER SIGVARDT

STUDENT FINANCE ASSISTANT

Oliver assists in the accounting department, and helps make sure that the
bookkeeping and reporting is in order. He is currently studying a bachelor's
degree in Business Economics, and in his spare time he likes to both play and
watch football. At the office, he is known for creating a pleasant vibe.

ESBEN ARBOE SONNE

BACKEND DEVELOPER

At ONILINECITY.IO all skills can come into play. As well as being a fantastic
backend developer, Esben is also our in-house gin expert, who gets the office
party going by serving extremely tasty (and strong) gin-based cocktails.

JACK JUNGE

DESIGNER & UI/UX SPECIALIST

In addition to being a great gamer, Jack has a keen sense on how to design
modern and good-looking interfaces, which benefits all of our platforms. Jack is
used to being teased for rooting for Chelsea F.C., but has quickly learned that
at ONLINECITY.IO, it matters a whole lot more which team you root for in CS:GO!

ANDERS KROMANN BAK

CUSTOMER SUCCESS SPECIALIST

Anders is super enthusiastic about helping customers achieve their goals. He
takes great satisfaction in working closely with customers to understand their
unique requirements and is always eager to go the extra mile to ensure their
success. In his spare time, Anders enjoys sports, especially football and golf,
as well as being with friends and family.

MORTEN ANDERSEN

GLOBAL LEAD BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Morten has extensive experience in sales and customer service, which he has
worked with for over 30 years. He is also a seasoned veteran in the SMS industry
where he since 2008 has worked at several companies as Sales Manager. Leisure
time is spent running and enjoying family life with a dog, guinea pig and
robotic lawnmower.

MARTIN LAUE CHRISTENSEN

TEKNISK SUPPORTER

Do you need technical support? Then you might be lucky enough to speak to
Martin! In addition to his 20+ years of experience in the industry, Martin’s
cheerful disposition is one of the greatest assets he brings to ONLINECITY.IO.
In his spare time, he loves playing computer games, going geocaching with his
son and studying AI, which he is incredibly fascinated by.

THOR THYEBORG LIND

FULL STACK DEVELOPER

Thor loves to explore new technologies and create state-of-art web applications
and user interfaces. He is particularly passionate about interaction design,
user experience and user-centered design. He has previously worked in the
robotics industry, and otherwise likes to spend his free time on programming
projects and classical piano when he has the time.

TOBIAS FAUCETTE

FRONTEND DEVELOPER

Tobias loves to build websites and bringing designs to life as well as ensuring
a good user experience. At ONLINECITY.IO, the ambitions are high when it comes
to websites, but this has not intimidated Tobias at all. He primarily spends his
leisure time with gaming, photography, and small coding projects.

OLIVER GLOZMANN BORK HANSEN

STUDENT ASSISTANT, DEVELOPMENT

As a student assistant, Oliver focus on integrations, and is the man to go to if
you need an integration with your preferred system. When he is not working at
GatewayAPI / ONLINECITY.IO, he studies Software Technology at DTU with a focus
on AI and Deep Learning. In addition, Oliver generally just enjoys working with
code, whether it's AI or something more down-to-earth, such as GUI or backend
software.

MADSS STORM HANSEN

COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

With a service commitment beyond the ordinary, Madss makes sure to help our
customers with big and small things. His tone is cheerful, while he also makes a
point of providing support with as much professionalism and presence as
possible. His free time is spent at concerts and festivals, as well as gathering
the courage to try bungee jumping one day.

MARCO JACOBSEN

WEB DESIGNER

As a web designer, Marco loves modern interfaces and is passionate about
creating web designs that deliver a great user experience. He also creates
amazing videos for the entire company. In his spare time, he loves gaming and
photography, and is a huge fan of 80s and 90s music - especially R.E.M. and Bee
Gees (or Shania Twain, if it is for dancing to).

HELENA RASMUSSEN

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

As Financial Controller, Helena helps ensure that all books, receipts, payments
etc. are in order. She also has a keen eye for optimizing processes in the
finance department and implementing new systems. In her spare time, she loves to
travel and spend time with friends and family, whether it's going for a walk, a
dinner, a game night or something else entirely.

BUE PETERSEN

DEVOPS ENGINEER

Bue has a decade experience with operations, including Continuous Delivery (CD)
and automation. He helps make sure that the foundations of our platforms are
rock-solid where he among other things focus on scaling and automating
infrastructure operations by applying his expert level understanding of
Continuous Delivery principles. In his spare time, he is a major outdoor
enthusiast.

ANIKA KRISTENSEN

SALES SUPPORTER

Anika is employed as a sales supporter and assists the sales team with pipeline
management, where she helps keep track of the many leads that come in on a daily
basis.

JESPER LUND

SENIOR OPERATIONS ENGINEER

As the true DevOps-Jedi he is, Jesper thrives in the versatile tasks of the
team’s daily work where many different skills come into play. It’s not a problem
either to throw Jesper in at the deep end, as he is a former swimmer and has
competed in the World Championships for masters back in 2004. When he doesn’t
spend his time building software, Jesper is an avid Lego-builder.

TANJA KATARIINA HANSEN

REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Tanja is our Regional Director and leads the company's commercial efforts in
Central Europe together with our Munich-based team. She loves helping clients
and as a Finn living in Bavaria, she thrives in an international environment. In
her free time, Tanja's favorite thing is jumping in her minibus with her family
to go windsurfing on a local lake.
