Welcome to the AVR Survey!

Use the drop down menus to select the mode of transportation you used during the
survey week. If you used more than one mode during your work commute, then
select the mode used for the majority (51% or more) of the total commute. If you
did not arrive or depart within the specified commute window, select "Outside of
Window" from the menu. 




This survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete. All personal information
will be kept confidential. Responses collected adhere to the City of Santa
Monica's Privacy Policy.




The AVR Survey includes several technical terms of which you should be aware.

Feedback on the Transportation System

COVID-19 changed our lives in immeasurable ways, including how we work and how
we get to work. Many are now telecommuting, while others have changed your
commute mode due to COVID-19 public health concerns. One thing is certain:
Traffic will come back, so the City’s work in building our multimodal
transportation system must continue. These surveys provide insights on the
unique challenges facing you and your coworkers as you adapt to COVID-19. Your
constructive feedback will also help us develop new ways to reduce drive-alone
commutes in this new normal.
