SHOCARD APPLICATION AND SMS MESSAGING
This section applies if you download or purchase our ShoCard application
(“ShoCard”) (independent of a relationship between Ping Identity and your
employer or service provider) and/or if you utilize any SMS messaging features
of our Products. If you downloaded or purchased ShoCard, we are a processor of
your information and you are the controller of your data. We will only process
the data that you select to provide us with in accordance with ShoCard’s
functionality and its terms of use. Our provision and your use of ShoCard, and
any liability associated therewith, shall be governed by the terms of use that
you agree to upon download or purchase of the product or application. In the
event you utilize any SMS messaging features of our Products, we will process
such information as a processor or service provider on behalf of our customers,
as outlined by the next paragraph, however, no Personal Information obtained by
us through any SMS short code program will be shared with any third-parties for
their marketing reasons/purposes.
A friendly reminder here, this Privacy Policy does not apply to you to the
extent that we process any of your Personal Information as a processor or
service provider on behalf of our customers. Ping Identity has no direct
relationship with the individual users/employees of our customers, and the type
of information that is processed by our Products is at the sole discretion of
our customers. We are not responsible for the privacy or data security practices
of our customers, which may differ from those explained in this Privacy Policy,
and we encourage you to reach out to our customer(s) directly.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT WHEN YOU USE SHOCARD AND HOW WE COLLECT
IT
The types of Personal Information that we process when you use ShoCard may
include contact information (such as your first and last name, email address,
and phone number), government issued identification information, professional
information (such as the department you work for at your place of employment),
protected health information, biometric data (such as facial recognition), or
other types of information.

BASIS ON WHICH WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION WHEN YOU USE SHOCARD
Our legal basis for collecting Personal Information when you use our products
will depend on the specific context in which it is collected or used. We collect
Personal Information from you only where:

* The processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your
rights.

OUR RECRUITING AND HIRING ACTIVITIES

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT DURING RECRUITING AND HIRING ACTIVITIES
We are honored that you want to join the Ping family. As part of our hiring
activities, we collect and maintain different types of Personal information
about you in accordance with applicable law. Some examples include (but are not
limited to the following):
* Identification data and contact details – including your name, address, email
address, phone number and other contact information, gender, date of birth,
nationality/ies, national identifiers (such as national ID/passport, social
security number(s)).
* Employment history – such as previous employers and job titles/positions.

qualifications, education, details included in your CV/résumé (which might
include details of any memberships or interests constituting sensitive
personal information), transcripts and employment references.
* Details of your nominated referees (including their name, contact details,

* Previous applications/roles (information relating to previous applications
you have made to the Company's Group and/or any previous employment history
with the Company's Group).
* Bank account details you provide in accordance with our candidate
reimbursement policy.
* Other information you voluntarily provide throughout the process, including
through assessments, exercises, and interviews.
As a general rule, during the recruitment process, we try not to collect or
process any of the following: information that reveals your racial or ethnic
origin, religious, political or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership;
genetic data; biometric data for the purposes of unique identification; or
information concerning your health/sex life ("Sensitive Personal Information"),
unless authorised by law or where necessary to comply with applicable laws.
However, in some circumstances, we may need to collect, or request on a
voluntary disclosure basis, some Sensitive Personal Information for legitimate
recruitment-related purposes: for example, information about your racial/ethnic
origin, gender and disabilities for the purposes of equal opportunities
monitoring, to comply with anti-discrimination laws and for government reporting
obligations; or information about your physical or mental condition to consider
accommodations for the recruitment process and/or subsequent job role.
5.2
HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION DURING RECRUITING AND HIRING ACTIVITIES
Generally, we collect employee-related Personal Information directly from you in
circumstances where you provide us with such information (e.g., during the
onboarding process, signing up for direct deposit, enrolling in benefits or
services). However, in some instances, we supplement your Personal Information
with other information that we obtain through your interactions with us or from
third parties. When we collect your Personal Information from third parties it
is either because you have given us express permission to do so, your permission
was implied by your actions (e.g., your use of a third-party employee service
made available to you by us), or because you provided explicit or implicit
permission to the third party to provide the Personal Information to us.
Some examples of Personal Information collected from other sources include (in
each case, where permissible and in accordance with applicable law):
References provided by referees;
* Other background information provided or confirmed by academic institutions
and training or certification providers;
* Criminal records data obtained through criminal records checks;
* Information provided by background checking agencies and other external
database holders (for example credit reference agencies and professional /
other sanctions registries);

Our legal basis for collecting Personal Information as part of the hiring and
recruitment process will depend on the specific context in which it is collected
or used. We collect Personal Information from you only:
* Where our legitimate interests are not overridden by your data protection
interests or fundamental rights and freedoms;
* To comply with applicable immigration and/or employment laws and regulations;
* To take steps prior to entering an employment contract with you, where you
are considered for employment;
* In circumstances where you have made the data public;
* Where we have your consent to do so; or
* To protect the rights and interests of the Company's Group, our employees,
applicants and others, as required and permitted by applicable law.

PURPOSES OF USING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN OUR RECRUITING AND HIRING
ACTIVITIES
We collect and use this personal information primarily for recruitment purposes
– in particular, to determine your qualifications for employment and to reach a
hiring decision. This includes assessing your skills, qualifications and
background for a particular role, verifying your information, carrying our
reference checks or background checks (where applicable) and to generally manage
the hiring process and communicate with you about it.
If you are accepted for a role at Ping, the information collected during the
recruitment process will form part of your ongoing staff member record and will
be processed in accordance with our Global Data Privacy Notice for Staff.
If you are not successful, we may still keep your application to allow us to
consider you for other suitable openings within Ping in the future unless you
request that we delete your application.
We may also use your Personal information in responding to requests by
government or law enforcement authorities conducting an investigation including

or United Kingdom (“UK”) and supplements our general Privacy Policy and Cookie
Policy. The term “Personal Information” is referred to as “Personal Data” in the

We are considered the controller of your personal information, unless otherwise
