KIRK C. SYME

President




Kirk has over 40 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Development and
Investments in the San Francisco Bay Area. He founded Woodstock in 1995 after 15
years with Coldwell Banker Commercial (now CBRE). At Coldwell Banker, he
co-founded the Life Science Practice and the Corporate Services Group which
provided Strategic Planning and Development Services to Gilead Sciences,
Oral-B/Gillette, Charles Schwab and many others. At Woodstock, Kirk is primarily
responsible for partner/joint venture management and strategic oversight of all
development and asset management.



Kirk was born in San Francisco and graduated from St Ignatius College Prep where
he is currently a Trustee and Chair of the Investment/Endowment Committee. He
graduated from Santa Clara University and is a past Trustee,
Investment/Endowment Committee member and Chair of the Board of Regents.

Kirk was also a long time member of the Board of Directors of Boston Private
Bank (formerly Borel Bank). There, he served on the Executive Committee and
Chaired the Directors Loan Committee.

Locally, Kirk serves on the Board of Crescent Porter Hale Foundation in San
Francisco (Finance/Investment Committee) and he is also a past Board Chair of
Peninsula Family Service in San Mateo and remains an Honorary Life Board Member.

Kirk resides in Hillsborough (suburb of San Francisco) where he and his wife
raised their 5 children.

WILLIAM SYME

Partner




William joined Woodstock Development in 2012 and is responsible for managing new
partner relationships and overseeing the leasing strategy for portfolio assets.
He also works with the team to expand the firm’s portfolio and development
pipeline through new acquisitions.
Prior to Woodstock, William spent nearly five years in the San Francisco
Peninsula office of BT Commercial (now Cushman Wakefield) where he was a leasing
broker focusing on occupier services.



William holds a Bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University. While not in the
office, he spends most of his time with his wife and two girls in the Presidio
of San Francisco and Crissy Field.

ROBERT RUSSELL

Partner




Robert joined Woodstock Development in 2017. His responsibilities include
overseeing the management and performance of Woodstock’s portfolio assets.



Prior to Woodstock Development, Robert worked for Cushman & Wakefield where he
advised both tenants and landlords on the leasing and sale of Office and R&D
properties. He is a graduate of Santa Clara University and lives in San Mateo
with his wife and two children.

ANDRES
ORPHANOPOULOS

Partner




Andres focuses on entitlements and land use as well as acquisitions and leasing.



Prior to Woodstock, Andres worked as a development director on behalf of a
regional portfolio focused on mixed use development. He began his career
practicing law at a global firm representing institutional lenders and
servicers. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and SAMCEDA and
stays involved with his alma mater, St Ignatius College Prep as an alumni board
member.

Andres graduated from the University of San Diego where he earned a degree in
International Relations. He lives in San Mateo with his wife and two children.

ALBERTO MEDINA

Controller




Alberto serves as Woodstock’s Controller and is responsible for overseeing
financial reporting, tax compliance, entity maintenance, risk management,
payroll and human resources, IT applications platform and reporting, as well as
special projects for Woodstock’s strategic partnerships.



Before joining Woodstock, Alberto worked as a Controller & Risk Manager for over
twenty years with Wilson Meaney specializing with a particular focus on large
mixed-use commercial development projects in the Bay Area.

Alberto is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. He is also involved
with various organizations including the National Trust for Historic
Preservation, San Francisco Planning and Urban Research (SPUR), Latinos in
Finance (LIF), and Stanford Professionals in Real Estate (SPIRE).

He attended Stanford University where he earned a degree in Quantitative
Economics as well as an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. He lives
in Burlingame.
