AZURE AI STUDIO: YOUR COMPLETE AI TOOLBOX

Azure AI Studio, in preview, provides a comprehensive platform for generative AI
development, featuring diverse models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented
generation, and fine-tuning. Tailor AI-powered copilots effortlessly, making
them accessible for both developers and non-programmers.

There’s a somewhat competing experiment from Google, called NotebookLM, which
“only” lets you provide documents (Google docs, PDFs, and pasted text) for RAG
against one large language model. I put “only” in air quotes because using RAG
against one good model is often enough to produce a good generative AI
application. Google has a long history of killing its experiments, so I’m not
taking any bets on whether or how NotebookLM will become a product.

Azure AI Studio model catalog
Azure AI Studio hosts AI models from Microsoft Research, OpenAI, Meta, Hugging
Face, and Databricks, as well as NVIDIA base models, so that you can find the
current best model for your application, or at least one that works well enough.
In addition, Azure AI Studio offers half a dozen Azure OpenAI language models,
some of which have fine-tuning capabilities.

Microsoft introduces Copilot Pro at $20/month for individuals with GPT-4 Turbo
access. Copilot for Microsoft 365, catering to organizations, expands
availability to small and medium-sized businesses at $30/user/month, aiming to
enhance productivity through generative AI.

We are updating our Microsoft Copilot product line-up with a new Copilot Pro
subscription for individuals; expanding Copilot for Microsoft 365 availability
to small and medium-sized businesses; and announcing no seat minimum for
commercial plans—making Copilot generally available to individuals, enterprises,
and everyone in between.

Copilot Pro provides priority access to the very latest models—starting with
OpenAI’s GPT-4 Turbo. You’ll have access to GPT-4 Turbo during peak times for
faster performance and, coming soon, the ability to toggle between models to
optimize your experience how you choose. Microsoft 365 Personal and Family
subscribers can use Copilot in Word, Excel (currently in Preview and English

Microsoft and Cognite join forces for a unified DataOps solution, integrating
Cognite Data Fusion with Microsoft Fabric. This collaboration accelerates value
and scalability for industrial use cases, ushering in a new era of innovation in
