   quicker than they would have liked. It was a cool, misty day in Cotuit, and
   prior to the Gatemen’s arrival, the rain drenched Lowell Park. Talks of

   The Wareham Gatemen (22-17-1) have not played a postseason game since 2019.
   Five years, no winning records, and the time has finally come. The Gatemen
   have snapped the league’s longest standing playoff drought, and now play the
   Cotuit Kettleers (22-17-1) in the first round of the 2024 Cape League
   playoffs....

   only thing that the team celebrated. Before the first pitch was thrown, the
   Cape Cod Baseball League held a mini awards ceremony for a very prestigious
   award, the Manny Robello 10th Player Award. The Manny Robello Award...

   After their tough defeat in Hyannis on Saturday, the Gatemen returned home to
   Spillane Field with some extra motivation. They looked to avenge their tough
   start and get ahead early against the Falmouth Commodores. It was another hot
   and humid day during batting practice and not only did the Gatemen...

 * Gatemen prep for playoffs with regular season finale against Falmouth 
   
   On June 16, 2024, the Wareham Gatemen (21-17-1) paid a visit to Guv Fuller
   Field for game two of the regular season in search of their first win. They
   outplayed the Falmouth Commodores (16-22-1) for a 4-2 victory that day, in
   what would be the start to Wareham’s first winning...
